In the late 1950s, my dad, Kenneth L. Pearson, established the roofing company known as ""Pearson Roofing and Siding Co."" in Danville, Illinois. He honed his skills while serving in the U.S. Navy's Sea Bees. Through years of hard work and dedication, he built a successful company that provided for our family.

In 1982, I earned my B.A. in Philosophy from Southern Illinois University and set out to carve my own path. I ventured to Austin, Texas, with only a hundred dollars and a one-way bus ticket.

A twist of fate led my dad to Austin a few years later. It became a fortunate circumstance for me. With persistent encouragement, he eventually persuaded me to go into business with him. And that’s how our story began.
