With his blessing, I embarked on my own venture. Our friendship continues to this day. In no time, TCS expanded to 15 full-time staff and maintained a strong six-figure monthly income. We worked on roofing projects for restaurants and apartment buildings in Texas and Louisiana. To summarize, my wife’s passing at 29 in July 2005 was a shock. I didn’t see that coming and was not ready for it. In 2007, I moved back to my hometown of Lubbock and started to get back on my feet. All is well now.
In 2009, we ventured into tree removal and trimming to complement our roofing services. I find it manageable to oversee two smaller businesses. We know our boundaries and stay within them.
