I faced quite a challenge on my first roofing day, as a hammer nearly knocked me out from above thanks to another worker, and while carrying a heavy bundle of shingles up the ladder, the ladder gave way and I fell, falling with the ladder and the bundle on top of me. Thank goodness I was young and strong, or it could have ended badly and I got up, looked to the sky, and told God, I vowed never to work on roofs again.
