I started my roofing career in 1978 at Dan Long Construction, where I put on shake roofs while still in high school. I continued working with Danny until I enlisted in the US Army Airborne.
After my service in the Army in 1982, I returned to Hawaii and worked on numerous shake roofing projects in Waipio Gentry. In 1984, I returned to California and received my Roofing Contractor's license.
In 1995, I returned to Hawaii and managed projects for many top roofing firms on Oahu before obtaining my Hawaii Roofing License. We have maintained a flawless record with no complaints in 37 years of roofing.
I began my roofing career in 1978 in Newport Beach, CA. After serving with the US 82nd Airborne Infantry, I returned to Hawaii in 1983 and worked at Gentry Homes on shake roofs and other local projects.
In 1985, I returned to California and established Oceanview Roofing Co. in Newport Beach. Following a successful stint in California, I felt the pull of the islands and came back to Kailua in 1995. I have lived here for nearly 19 years and raised my family.
This year, I celebrate 37 years in the roofing business. I have no plans to retire from roofing because I truly enjoy my work! The owner of Oceanview Roofing.
