My roofing journey began in 1978 when I was hired by Dan Long Construction to install shake roofs as a high school student. I stayed with Danny until I became part of the US Army Airborne.

After my service in the Army in 1982, I returned to Hawaii and worked on numerous shake roofing projects in Waipio Gentry. I returned to California in 1984 and earned my Roofing Contractor's license.

After coming back to Hawaii in 1995, I supervised for several leading roofing companies on Oahu before obtaining my Hawaii Roofing License. In 37 years of roofing, we have never received a single complaint.

I started working in roofing in 1978 in Newport Beach, CA. After my time with the US 82nd Airborne Infantry, I returned to Hawaii in 1983 and worked at Gentry Homes, handling shake roofs and other projects on the island.

I returned to California in 1985 and started Oceanview Roofing Co. in Newport Beach. After a successful period in California, the islands called me back, and I returned to Kailua in 1995. I have spent nearly 19 years in Kailua, where I have raised my family.

I am proud to mark my 37th year in the roofing field this year. I plan to continue roofing because I am passionate about my job! The owner of Oceanview Roofing.
