Mitch Willis started in the construction sector at 14, serving as a carpenter and laborer while attending high school. While in college, he worked weekends for a local construction company and graduated with a degree in industrial systems technology at 21. Afterward, he embarked on a career as an Engineering Technician in the Facilities Engineering Department at the Albany Marine Corps Base.

During his time at the marine base, Mitch also worked as a contractor on the side and launched MVW Roofing in 2011. After 11 years, he shifted his role at the base to become a firefighter, which provided him with more time to dedicate to his business.

Eight months later, Mitch discovered he needed to medically retire as a firefighter due to the necessity of a pacemaker. This change allowed him even more time to focus on his business, and he earned a state residential general contractor's license at 29, followed by a light commercial state license three years later.

In his role as the owner of MVW Roofing, Mitch manages employees, oversees projects, and conducts job site meetings. Mitch enjoys cultivating relationships with his customers and establishing a strong reputation for his business. Mitch is passionate about the construction industry and helping homeowners!

In his spare moments, Mitch enjoys golfing, fishing, and doing things with his wife and three children. He dedicates 60% of his free time to family activities and the other 40% to home projects for his wife.
