In 1990, I moved to the Atlanta area and began working as an aircraft mechanic for Delta Air Lines, Inc. I was promoted to the quality control department at Delta, and after investing in rental properties throughout Georgia, I began building homes in 1996. After ten years of building on the side, my family supported my decision to leave Delta's security to focus on improving construction quality in Georgia. Today, in light of the economic shifts we've all experienced, J. R. Jones Construction, Inc. remains successful and expanding.
