After finishing high school, he moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, following a calling he felt. In Chattanooga, he started a modest construction company. He aimed to build a business that honored God and made an impact. This vision led to the birth of In His Hands Contractors.

Ron has three sons: Josh, Daniel, and Jonathan. All three learned construction principles while working at In His Hands Contractors. They experienced all aspects of the business and honed their skills. As adults, they moved on from In His Hands Contractors to a well-known roofing and construction firm in Chattanooga, Tennessee. All three held foreman positions. As a startup, the company thrived thanks to the contributions of Josh, Daniel, and Jonathan, growing into a well-known roofing and construction business with over thirty staff members. Their roles included hiring and dismissing employees, as well as overseeing production and job completion.
