Mitch Willis started in the construction sector at 14, serving as a carpenter and laborer while attending high school. He continued this work on weekends for a local construction firm while pursuing his college education, ultimately earning a degree in industrial systems technology by 21. Afterward, he embarked on a career as an Engineering Technician in the Facilities Engineering Department at the Albany Marine Corps Base.

During his time at the marine base, Mitch also worked as a contractor on the side and launched MVW Roofing in 2011. After 11 years, he shifted his role at the base to become a firefighter, which provided him with more time to dedicate to his business.

Eight months later, Mitch found out he needed to medically retire as a firefighter because he required a pacemaker. This change allowed him even more time to focus on his business, and he earned a state residential general contractor's license at 29, followed by a light commercial state license three years later.

In his role as the owner of MVW Roofing, Mitch manages employees, oversees projects, and conducts job site meetings. He takes pleasure in developing connections with his clients and creating a favorable image for his company.
