Luiz, born in Brazil, has always had a passion for engineering and construction. He spent considerable time creating tools to improve work processes. At the age of 19, he made the trip from Brazil to New Jersey. As he started his life in a new land, he embarked on a career in construction. Over time, he trained as an apprentice with an experienced contractor who showed him the ins and outs of roofing. This experience led him to start his own general contracting company. After establishing a family, he found himself yearning for the warm weather of his childhood. He brought his family to Florida to see what the state had in store.
