Ken Reed, our owner, has accumulated more than 35 years of experience in construction. Before settling in Florida, he worked as a roofing contractor in California and Illinois. After the hurricanes hit Florida in 2004, Ken journeyed throughout the state to fix the damage caused. This journey enhanced his understanding of the demand for superior roofing.

Ken began his career as a dedicated contractor in the western suburbs of Illinois. Eighteen years and six kids later, he and his wife, who have been together for 35 years, opted for semi-retirement. When he reached Florida, fellow contractors suggested he take on a role as a business consultant.

Realizing retirement wasn't for him, he and his family founded R & K Roofing in northeast Florida. Ken's dad and all five of his sons have played a role in the family business.
