With over 25 years in the roofing industry, Dave started his career alongside his uncle Phil Marmiani in 1983 as an apprentice at 18. Following four years of training with family, he moved to a major roofing firm in the San Fernando Valley, taking on the role of foreman. Managing his own crews, he perfected the installation of diverse roofing systems for residential and commercial buildings.

In 1995, Dave began working at a different large roofing company, taking on the responsibilities of project manager and commercial estimator. He was responsible for managing projects that spanned from residential roofing to complex commercial roofs, such as public schools, colleges, and industrial buildings.
