Jonathan Kent acquired his contractor's license for roofing from the California state in February 2011, and after that founded Kent Roofing Company. Sam, his father became part of the company as Site Superintendent and Sales Director. This company is authentically a family-owned enterprise.

Douglas Kent started a residential home maintenance business called Allied Home Services in the 70s. It wasn't much time before roofing repair and maintenance services was recognized as his niche. The requests from his customers on roofing projects defined the business. When Doug left us, AHS remained in the Kent family and was taken over by Sam Kent. Alongside his sons, continued to serve their customers and honored the quality of work that Douglas set.

In 2008, Jonathan Kent departed the family enterprise to gain expertise in commercial roofing.
