Raised in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Lexington Reservoir, he resided in multiple locations in the county of Santa Clara. After meeting Lindsey, his wife, Jonathan settled down in Aptos. He makes his home there to this day with his spouse and two kids. Ryin, his oldest child is in secondary school. Jacen, his younger child is in junior high. Lindsey is a Speech and Language Pathologist.
