After four years of learning and working with family, he joined a large roofing company in the San Fernando Valley as a foreman. Leading his own teams, he honed his skills in installing various roofing systems for both residential and commercial projects.

In 1995, he joined another major roofing firm as a project manager and commercial estimator. He managed projects that varied from residential roofs to extensive commercial roofs, including public schools, colleges, industrial buildings, and various public works. After mastering his craft, he pursued his contractor's license in 1999. Once he achieved all necessary licensing and qualifications, Dave established All Pro Roofing Company.
