Back in 1973, our founder, Jim Doughty secured a summer position with a roofing contractor and stayed in the roofing industry. By 1979, he received a contractor's license. Also in 1979, he moved to Auburn, California and started Auburn Roofing. By 1993, our company become incorporated. We have been at the same location since 1991, our company has been in business for 36 years.

Hello, let me take a moment to introduce myself. I’m Jim Doughty, the owner of Auburn Roofing, Inc. In 1973, while attending Cal State Hayward, I found a summer position with a roofing contractor. I continued in roofing and that same year, in 1979, I received my contractor's license. Also in 1979, I relocated to Auburn and established Auburn Roofing Co., and the year 1993 saw us we incorporated.

We are proud of the quality of our work and craftsmanship. The partners we work with we collaborate with are equally dedicated to quality in their offerings. RSG and ABC Supply deliver our roofing materials directly to us, and our lumber supplier, Diamond Pacific provides us with lumber. We prefer Owens Corning. These shingles come with a limited lifetime warranty, in addition to warranties that are pro-rated. That said, we are able to provide any other type of roofing material that you may need.
