I crossed paths with my wife while she was studying on the West Coast and decided to move to join her. Realizing the importance of a contractor license, I sat for the test and achieved a passing score in 1978.

After finishing high school, I have worked as a self-employed roofing contractor. The first decade was challenging as I learned on the job. I found out that addressing errors quickly kept clients satisfied. Now, after 39 years, such problems are uncommon.
