After a successful spring and summer with the roofing company I opened in Birmingham, the winter months proved difficult, so I asked the owner for assistance, but he left me stranded. I went without power for six weeks, from December 2nd to January 12th, 2017, and in that period, I focused on learning the business aspects, analyzed marketing, and learned from other successful entrepreneurs. I made a commitment to never let someone else dictate my future. On January 12th, I regained power and obtained my business license; by the 14th, just two days after contacting potential clients, I landed my first job—a roof replacement in Pelham. I have been sharing my innovative ideas with homeowners throughout Birmingham and the surrounding areas, prioritizing quality, competitive rates, and most importantly, customer satisfaction by involving them in the process.
