A native of Northern California, Nick Hernandez started his roofing career in 1977 when he joined Pioneer Roofing in his hometown of Ukiah, CA. He spent 3.5 years there before relocating to Alaska. In Alaska, he honed his skills for ten years at Rain Proof Roofing. He started as a roofer for 4 years and progressed to lead foreman for 6 years, he oversaw important state and government contracts. After Rain Proof, he spent 21 years with Industrial Roofing Inc. (IRI). He began as the main foreman for 4 years, transitioned to Project Manager for 5 years, served as an Estimator for 3 years, and ended as a Senior Estimator and Silent Partner for 9 years. At IRI, Nick consistently managed an annual $7 million in awarded projects. Upon his departure, Hernandez successfully estimated over $13 million worth of work. Since then, Nick has thrived in the roofing sector.
