What can Zubia Roofing do better? Quite simple...DO what you SAY you are going to do - and FOLLOW-UP! How can anyone TRUST someone who does not do what they say they were going to do and NEVER get back to you??? Hmmm?
ESPECIALLY in this line of work! Be the job big or small - put some 'glue' in your promises - so that they stick - INSTEAD of your gross lack of follow-up, which is ruining your NAME...and will 'STICK' around for years to come...

Please note that Raul was, at first, extremely responsible in getting back to me as our schedules kept colliding. He came out, looked at what I needed to have done, even climbed in the attic, and that was the last I heard from him (which was weeks ago)... WHY? This begs the question - was the job too small for him? Did he just decide to 'diss' - miss my job because he got too busy with other bigger jobs? ...guess I'll never know because this once communicative, responsible business man fizzled out - and went flat - which is such a shame, because Raul does seem to be a caring business man. WTF? Again? WHAT in the hell is up with you people here in Bakersfield? Huh? NOT following-through nor taking responsibility to treat people with decency, let alone CIVILITY...JUST IGNORING my sorry ass? WHY? TELL ME WHY???

I received 3 estimates for a new roof. Raul was right on with a competitive number. We discussed all elements of the work to be done and Raul was thorough in his approach to the project. The project was completed on budget and on time. I've been in construction for 45 years and I can say Zubia is top notch with professional, experience and honesty. Highly recommend. He was very honest, straightforward, and also charged very reasonable price. I was trying to get one piece of tile on my tile roof fix/repair. He suggested contacting the builder or the solar panel company to repair under the warranty. He also gave me a very reasonable quote to get it done if both builder and solar panel company route fails. He did not charge me outrageous price compare to some other company. That is why I am highly recommended this roofer.

The owner, Raul, is extremely kind and a real pleasure to work with. He has put on three roofs for me now, and I won't go with anyone else. The first one was when my MIL passed away, and her house had those old wood shingles, so it couldn't get it insured, therefore sold. Raul finished that new roof in less than a week, and it made the house gorgeous! The second was when my own mother moved away, and I purchased her house. The roof was so old and sagging. He even put on new facia because it was rotted. The third was when I built a small chicken coop that needed a roof, but he did that one at no charge! Lol. Thank you, Raul!

I took a chance after reading reviews and called Raul Zubia for an estimate to reseal all vents, repair broken tiles and clean out debris from our 20 year old tile roof. Good as it Gets!
I was requesting a home improvement loan from CalVet, and I needed at least 2 bids from licensed contractors. The first bid was quite high, and so I contacted the real estate agent who sold me the house, for a roofer referral. He contacted Raul (the owner of Zubia Roofing) and I had my second bid the next day. Wow! Huge difference in price. Zubia has just finished replacing my roof, and it is absolutely beautiful. The have cleaned up daily after the work, and even brought their own porta-potty, so there were no interruptions or trips inside the house. Raul is not just a terrific roofer, he is a kind and compassionate human being. I recommend him HIGHLY to anyone seeking a professional and competitively priced new roof.
