Yesterday was not a good day at our house as a roof developed a serious leak. I didn't notice the problem until first thing this morning because it wasn't a part of the house we never use anymore.
Nevertheless we still had to solve the .
problem because it was going to cause serious damage to the insulation and sheetrock so now we have to find a contractor on a holiday. I started calling the four or five roofing contractors that seem to work in my neighborhood and none of them returned my call except one. Within about 95 minutes or so they sent out one of their people to help me with my problem. this was no easy task is it was raining out in the leak was getting worse. The man who drive out to my home covered the area that was leaking with a tarp. This seemed to stop the leaking. I was so impressed I offered to pay him on the spot but he said don't worry about it. He said my company will bill you later. He also assured me that once the weather is dry, they could repair my roof instead if replacing it. I finally found someone I can trust. His name is Jeff Shulman. 4 hours later I get to hear back from any of the other roofing companies I called

Had a great experience with getting my roof repaired quickly in the middle of the rainy season. So thankful that they were able to come out and do it. We've had a lot of rain since and no leaks! Great service, knowledgeable and helpful. I'd call them back in a heartbeat.

Why bother with these people?? I called them twice this week to schedule an estimate, and they blew me off. They answer the phone, promise to call back and never did. I even said I was a past customer over the years. Well, that was then. Why waste time when they don't even give you the courtesy of returning your calls.

My experience was awful. I was helping my dad get quotes and Zimmerman refused to talk to me or provide any sort of quote. Zimmerman was condensending and rude throughout the 3 times we met. I have no clue as to why the believe they can treat people this way, but I will never use their company.

I am not mistaken and I live in the greenhaven pocket area. This incident occurred many years ago before yelp and thought I would wrote a review based on my experoence. While I am not surprised you don't remember me, but I definitely remember the way your company treated me. But thank you again for your condenscension.

If you are looking for a great experience with a professional roofing company that cleans up after the job and keeps you informed all through the process, DO NOT choose Zimmerman. If you want a reasonable price and can put up with not knowing what's going on, then go ahead and work with these guys.

The good news is that after 8 weeks of waiting, the final inspection is done. The bad news is that I am pretty sure that if anything goes wrong, I am out of luck.

Just had a very good experience with Zimmerman . They tore off an old roof & put on a new one. They were conscientious & competent. The foreman Richard does the
right thing for the homeowner. As in all business relationships, there needs to be
good communication both ways. I certainly did not know much about roofing. The
inspections can cause delays, but Zimmerman really accommodated me in getting
the job done quickly. The roof looks great and I am confident it was put on right. I also
feel that if I discovered something was wrong later, they would definitely come back
& fix it. They are trustworthy. And in the roofing business, that counts for a lot! I
highly recommend them.
The owner, Dave, has a great reputation. Alma, in the office, is very efficient. Jason,
who works on the gutters is great. Richard , the foreman, is topnotch. They have a
lot of good people!!
