Long story short DO NOT use this company. Mark will victim blame and threaten you if anything goes wrong with his men, even though they are HIS workers and he is the only person who can speak on their quality of work. These men offered to install a dishwasher for me, and since I thought these men were employed by Mark's company (they are not, he subcontracts out all work, no workers are his employees) I told them that was fine. I would have never told them that had Mark told me, ""these men only do carpentry work, if they offer anything extra you need to contact me"".

They flooded my house and when we told Mark he essentially told me it's my fault for being stupid enough to believe that these workers were his employees and were able to provide a range of services. I should have magically assumed that Mark hires out subcontractors and that if they offer me anything extra I am supposed to babysit them by calling Mark and asking, ""is it okay if your worker offered XYZ to me and is he able to do this work?"" Why would I think I need to call Mark to confirm that his workers are offering me services they CANNOT do when they called him for every other ""extra"" thing I asked for? Mark even stated to me that he was not going to pay them for installing the dishwasher since they were not supposed to. He also refused to turn this into his liability insurance stating that he was not liable (even though my contract is with ZEALOUS RENOVATIONS not any other company) and any issues or destruction those workers created ""are not his responsibility"".

Then when I said I guess we will see each other in court he stated he wanted to take care of this amicably since we are ""family"" even though I told him over and over I did not want those same workers back in my house. Finally we came to an agreement that Mark would finance fixing EVERYTHING which was broken and then I would pay him back the remaining balance of the total price (which I charged back when Mark was not responding to me; this charge back was the only reason Mark reached out to me 3 weeks and 6 days AFTER he was supposed to do the final walk through). 2.5 months later and my house is still destroyed (no insulation in my basement in the winter months making my gas bill INSANE) and now Mark is trying to threaten me with a ""lien"" on my house and take me to court for ""fraud"" when HIS MEN destroyed my house and still have not fixed the major water damage. I told him he will not see another PENNY from me until the house is fixed. HORRIBLE person! He will use and abuse you and try to scare you with threats when he knows that he is completely responsible for what the men did that HE placed in my house. I have no clue who or what their company is all I know is ZEALOUS RENOVATIONS put them in my house to destroy! BEWARE! Victim blaming, calling me a liar when I have proof I reached out to all banks, to him, and I have hundreds of pictures, videos, and hours of phone recordings of Mark victim blaming and calling me and my mother stupid for not knowing the inner workings of his business even though by his OWN WORDS ""he does not have to tell me how he runs his business"". WELL THEN MARK, deal with the consequences of lying to your customers! Mark finds cheap work and then charges you market value!! BEWARE of the crappy work, he will say that it is normal for your seamless flooring not to be level and not to be even.

Thank you Zealous Renovation for another job well done! This company has done several repairs for me over the past several years. They just completed an outstanding job on my home after experiencing some flooding issues. Earlier this year, they did an amazing job resurfacing my ceiling ! I highly recommend these guys for any home improvement project. They always provide professional, efficient and excellent service.
