The day the tear off crew was supposed to come, they didnt show due to a miscommunication that the supervisor sitting out front for two hours waiting on them, wasn't even aware of.
They did clean up well, but stole a spout off our gas can when they left. Supervisor said he'd replace it, that never happened.
Supervisor said roofing crew would wipe down materials ( metal roofing ) because they had been sitting for two months due to a pause on the job because stucco work had not been completed on time. Sam assured me everything would be wiped down which was a lie. Roofing crew wouldn't wipe down anything.
Sam ( Supervisor) said he or another Supervisor would be on the job at all times.
Another lie.
Sam said he'd be back for a walk over to make sure no debris was left behind in the yard, another lie, he never came back.
Some of the ends of the roofing material are bent, like smashed and who knows the quality of the roof job. It did pass inspection but that doesnt mean its a perfectly done job.
Crew threw cigarette butts in the yard as well, and I ended up picking them up.
One of the kids on the roofing job had a smug punk like attitude, not professional at all.

I used Yowell's Roofing for years and always referred them to others, but no more. I had an appointment scheduled for them to check a possible roof leak. My wife and I both adjusted our schedules to make sure we would be home at the 3:00 appointment time. The roofers showed up early at 1:00 when no one was home (I saw this on my home alarm system) and they did not come back at 3:00. I called to ask where they were after they didn't show at 3:00 and was told that since the previous job was done early they sent the workers home. But they could reschedule. I was dumbfounded and told her so. She said, "" Find someone else"" and hung up.

Had to go over the estimate when after removing shingles, they discovered some plywood had rotted out. He worked with me to make sure the repairs were done as reasonably as possible.

I dealt with Johnny Yowell, the owner who was patient, friendly, and explained the whole process to me. Moreover, he gave me advice and a CD of pictures that helped me save money on my insurance premium.

I live in an HOA where we have a strict board. He was understanding of their requirements and ensured his workers complied with the rules.

His workers showed up on time every day and more importantly were diligent in using a magnetic broom to ensure nails were swept up at the end of the day.

In the end, I was glad to use his service and recommend it to neighbors.

I was recommended to this company by a friend who used them 17 years ago. I honestly didn't think they would still be in business considering they are a roofing company. Just what I heard about the industry. To my surprise, they called me back. We setup a time to look at my roof issues. They showed up on time and gave me an estimate that was $3700 less the all other companies. I was leary but remembered my friend recommended them. They were great and I'm so happy I went with them and didn't pay $3700 more then I needed to.

Mr. Yowell and his crew completed a roof repair on our home in January 2018. We experienced a professional, punctual and conscientious team. They ensured the repair was completed on the day before the next forecasted rain storm and cleaned up everything before they left.
We would recommend them to anyone requiring a roof repair.

This company is terrible! The workers are incompetent. They will give you a sketchy quote that seems reasonable but after work was done, it was over $1k more than expected but they couldn't give me accurate details of why. They scheduled men to come out multiple days while no one was around to verify. Then, they sat in the truck while it rained and never covered the exposed roof, allowing tons of water to come in my home. They had to replace my entire living room floor. It was ridiculous. To make up for this ""inconvenience"" they gave me $300 dollars off. Really! When the house was being flooded with rain water, the workers sat in the truck. My tenant had to use all her towels to try to clean up. The manager came 30 minutes later after majority was cleaned up and proclaimed it wasn't that bad.... but it was bad enough to rip up my floor and replace it all. Don't use this company!
