We interviewed three solar companies and chose Y.E.S. (they had been referred to us by an acquaintance). John Darling came and presented the different solar panel companies available and did a very good job in explaining all the details. After selecting them for the job, the office
was prompt in communicating the scheduling. On the installation day, Victor, the project manager, came with two assistants and they got the job done in less than four hours (11 panels). They were extremely efficient and careful. One of their staff came when the county inspector came to do the final inspection.

Upgraded 18 invertors and install 4 additional solar panels. These guys are top notch customer service and solar installers with prices that are very competitive to other companies. I worked with Jim and Gil his lead installer. They explained everything to the fine details from start to finish and I felt assured everything was going to be installed with high quality. Everything went smooth and the project came out clean. Gil sent pictures and updated us of his progress through out the day. He also followed up with us to make sure the system was working properly after the install. Will definitely need to work with them on other projects.

I have a 10+ year old solar system and was talking with a few companies about options and add-ons. From the first time I started communicating with Jim, it was clear that he was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions (there were a lot). He was upfront about costs and the different options that were available to me. After deciding to move forward with adding more panels and upgrading my existing inverter, Gil was a huge help in facilitating the installation and explaining the system.

I am in search of Solar Panel installation companies and I happened to speak with Jim. For some reasons that are to do with my roof, I won't be able to do business with ""Your Energy Solutions"". But still Jim spent around half hour explaining all the Pros and Cons of Solar Panel System and what best can be done for my home's specific needs. He also gave some referrals that suit my needs. I am sorry that I could not work with them. But I am amazed at Jim's honesty and helping nature.

First Jim (owner) was fantastic when my wife and I met, friendly and honest.the whole group from reps to the field people were great to talk with.installation was a breeze arrived at 7:30am finished at 2:30pm installers

Order the critter barrier. All this started middle of May 2019 and installed July 2019
Now waiting for inspection and service to start

Excellent company to do business with. From salesman to finished product everything was installed quickly and the team got my NEM agreement with PG&E completed very quickly. My only comment otherwise is that they should be using qualified electrical workers for the tie in to service panels. Their ""electricians"" are not state certified. That could lead to injury or damage down the road for them. Other than that they are spot on!

I was referred to YES (Praveen) via a friend and, I couldn't be more happier with the way the engagement went from start to finish. Praveen knows his stuff when it comes to Solar - he is a pro at figuring out how to size based on usage and factoring in different metering plans available with PG&E. They have a pretty solid approach around only using the best materials but, still offer a pretty competitive price point. I must've spent several hours talking and deliberating different options and, configurations and inverter related topics with Praveen and he was patient and explained everything pretty thoroughly at every interaction.

From the contract signing to the end, their entire process was smooth and painless. They worked with our HOA to get the approval, completed the install smoothly, got the city approval. Every person in their team is top notch, responsive and, on point every step of the way.

If you are thinking of getting Solar, go with YES - you just can't go wrong!

We had spoken to 5 or 6 solar companies before finding Praveen and YES Solar. We almost moved forward with a couple but those fell through at the contract stage because of bait-and-switch tactics, incompetence, and contracts that didn't look like they were worth the paper they were written on.

The consistent pattern we observed across all of those companies was that the sales guys had the basic pitch down (which was probably standard) and that might be enough for some folks. For us, we like to understand things before we make decisions and we had a lot of questions. None of these other companies were able to answer our questions satisfactorily and kept the details vague, even in the contracts.

So, we are extremely happy to have found Praveen and YES Solar. My wife had first spoken to Praveen and he told us to block an hour so that he could take us through the details (and even offered to call us from his vacation). I was very skeptical based on the interactions we had with previous solar companies but that hour was soooo worth it and it completely changed my mind. Through the process, I went from 'I am unhappy with all of these companies but will have to pick the least bad one' to 'I can't believe this guy and this company exists and I am so confident about this process and the decision now'.

This was such a smooth process and the decisions were made so easy. Praveen had meaningful answers to all our questions and addressed every concern making it easy for us to make the decision. He went way beyond that and provided details and pointed us in directions we hadn't thought to even consider and we did a couple of things differently than we would have with another company, to our benefit. Unlike the others, they never pitched a 'this is the only right solution'. They gave us what they thought was the best choice for our needs and gave us alternatives with pros and cons like we asked. Praveen guided us through the process including getting a loan and they continued to be proactive and responsive even after we signed the contract. They were professional, their communication was clear, they were focused on delivering what they promised and we didn't have to chase them down for stuff.

If you are like us and you want to understand things before making your decisions, YES Solar is absolutely the right one for you because they understand everything deeply, they take the time to explain till you understand, are satisfied, and are comfortable with making the decision.
If you are the opposite of us and want your decisions to be made for you, YES Solar is still the right choice for you because they understand everything deeply, they are very professional, and they take the time to understand your needs and deliver the best solution for you (all qualities we did not find in the other companies we interacted with).

Was looking into getting the solar system for my house. Talked with several vendor for comparison. YES was the best I could get. Praveen is very knowledgeable and helpful on the all the questions I have. Installation is also very professional and during that Ernest and Ashley took every step to keep me informed on the steps happening and worked with me around my timeline and availability! Overall, it is a wonderful experience and highly recommend to the others!
