I have been a customer of Your Energy Solutions for over 4 years. I have done extensive research for my home solar project with multiple excel file models. At the end of the day, I decided to go with Your Energy Solutions, though they were nowhere at the bottom of the total cost of ownership. Main reason was the excellent sales experience I had with Jim and Praveen. Unlike others, Jim and Praveen were less about selling but more about making sure I am educated about solar system. 4+ years later, I am doubly sure I made the right choice. The best I liked about them so far is their outstanding customer service when I request support and their proactive monitoring of my system and taking care of any issues even before I noticed anything.

Solar system is a very long term investment and saving few dollars in the short term over paying a little extra now with assurance you are in good hands is the right decision, in my view. Anyone sharing this view, I highly recommend Your Energy Solutions for your solar system needs.

Your Energy Solutions installed 6.7KW of Solaria solar panels and 39KWH of Tesla batteries for me. I wanted it done quickly because I was afraid of blackouts from the fires and PG&E bankruptcy and pandemic. They got the batteries done in only a few weeks and the panels in a few weeks more. Tesla was not supplying controllers, so their CEO Jim Gitas called all around the bay to find somebody who had a controller to supply us. Their lead electrical guy Daniel really hustles, and both Daniel and Jim personally came to my house for a whole weekend to get the job done.

The job was done on time, everything works perfectly with no problem. Including all the permits and permission to operate from PG&E.

I paid a premium price and a bonus tied to the schedule to incentivize the very fast work.

I really recommend YES, whether you are doing it for protection against blackouts, as I was, or whether you are just trying to save money on your electric bill.

Y.E.S. installed an additional backup battery (LG 9.5 KWh) on my existing solar system. They were straight forward when estimating the time and cost involved and were easy to work with.

I particularly liked the support and updates I got from Fabian and Jessica (Project managers assigned to my project) as the plans were drawn-up and the permits pulled.

The installers arrived on time as scheduled. The physical install went quickly and professionally. They had some technical issues with the bring-up after adding the second battery but they worked through them and with the help of some phone support, got the system up and running before they left.

After the battery was installed, I got additional help from Franki (Technical support) to configure the battery system and web interface to my requirements.

Such a great experience. Fabian was my project manager and made the process absolutely seamless. my communication started with Jill, who gave me a detailed and comprehensive explanation on solar and what to expect. I also corresponded with Jim, the owner, who was great and incredibly responsive. I immediately felt trust for the company. Shortly after, Fabian was assigned to my project. He kept everything on track- he is such a great communicator and just a good guy.

A friend of mine recommended YES, so I got quotes from them and a few other installers. I worked with Steve from YES and he was great to work with, very responsive and upfront about things, and they took the time to work with me to figure out what we needed.

The entire process was quick and smooth and the installation finished even a little earlier than the original estimate. It passed inspection with no issues and we were up and running in no time.

Their pricing was also very competitive, so all in all we were super happy with both the experience and the end result.

I had four panels from an original installation that had dropped off making power. My original installing contractor is no longer in business which left me to deal with the warranty. Franki with YES was great. Had a team come out to help process the warranty application with the solar panel mfg. Then gave me a good price to replace them and they are doing great. Great to have someone help out when you feel stuck as a customer.

We just had our solar panels installed recently and were hooked up to the grid less than a week ago. Fabian, our project manager, was wonderful to work with, and everything was super easy and went over without any hitches. He was also really responsive; anytime I had a question, I got a quick response. Finally, after reading so many positive reviews, I was completely convinced we couldn't go wrong choosing them. I'm so glad we did.
