I called Michelle at Yoder Roofing in early July to have an estimate scheduled for my small, residential roof repair. She scheduled the owner (the younger Mr. Yoder) to come out and do the estimate. He was nice and gave me a price and scheduled my job in mid-August. This was a long time, and I have a leaking roof, so I asked to be put on a 'short-call"" list. He agreed. Here we are early August, I called to ensure I had the correct date for starting the job next week. Michelle told me they ""forgot to schedule me"" and that they could put me back on the schedule in EARLY OCTOBER! SHE actually got mad at ME, when I told her this was ridiculous and I wanted to be fit in right away. She started over-talking me and then immediately hung-up on me when I told her that her yelling was not helping. I have now called back about 10-times (both numbers) and no one will answer.
So, if YOU want to be treated like THIS...go ahead and work with Yoder Roofing.

Yoder Roofing did an excellent job replacing my mother-in-law's roof. They also coordinated with Shenk Aluminum installing new facia, soffits and cutters. It was one stop shopping for us. Out of three bids, they were in the middle. Tipping the scale was that they were highly recommended by my neighbor who had his roof replace four years ago. Both the Yoder and Shenk crews completed their jobs in a timely manner and they cleaned up after themselves. For such a large project, there were no problems or surprises. Yoder did a repair for me about three years ago. The roof recently began leaking at the same spot. This time the plywood had rotted and had to be replaced. The new roofer explained that the original repair was poorly done and led to this additional damage.

Tried calling them repeatedly to fix some problems on a roof they installed a few years ago, which I thought was fine at the time, but apparently isn't! I repeatedly got an answer machine, but couldn't leave a message because it wasn't working. I finally called and did leave a message, but no one came back to me, and the person who took the message didn't seem to be interested at all and kept putting me on hold. I agree with previous reviewer that they are very unprofessional.

I had work done by them a couple years ago. A storm came through prior to Irma, and it only tore off the work that was repaired.
I wanted to see if they could reroof the entire roof as I had used them before hoping it would be better quality.
I emailed, called and left several messages for 3 weeks and never got a response to even call me back. Very poor customer service. Poor quality

Yoder Roofing is awesome. Great customer service, friendly and courteous technician (thanks, Tim!), excellent quality work.
We had a small roof repair that needed to be fixed expeditiously. Not the biggest job ever, but important to us.
From our first contact with Yoder Roofing, they exceeded all expectations we had for a roofing contractor.
Highly recommended.

I would like consumers to be aware that when you call/receive an estimate after waiting a month for the appointment this company does not even wait to meet with the owner to accurately assess the project.
If you request another estimate-in my case a whole year later waiting a month again-they will tell you they are coming, confirm the day before and then email you instead of calling to say they are NOT coming because an estimate is already on file. Of course don't hold them to that inaccurate estimate because it clearly states validity for 15 days.
If this company is too lazy to generate an accurate estimate and too lazy to communicate that they are not keeping their appointment then what does that say about the quality of work. The good news is they were too lazy to come out so I'm lucky enough to not have my roof ruined and my hard earned money wasted!

Shay the receptionist has a bad attitude with the customers. Perhaps she is burned out or her personality is not fit for customer service but she is a disaster representing any business. I have to go elsewhere simply because I do not want to deal with her.

This review is regarding the service receptionist and not about any work rendered. After the week of storms, in our area, a large tile came off our porch roof, leaving a gaping hole, so. I Called Yoder, because of their reputation for good work, and left a message, as I was concerned that if it rains we will end up with roof damage, and possible leakage.They did not return my call. I called back, and the woman who answered told me that they were extremely busy. I said that I understood. I asked if there were any other reputable roofers, in the area that they could recommend and she said 'you will just have to call around' i was underwhelmed with her response. She was not helpful and her response, quite frankly left me wondering why, if they are such a good company, they don't have a more helpful representative working 'up front'
I would not bother with them again.
