Recommended Customer Reviews

1 Star is generous
Project Scope:
Floors
Baseboards
Kitchen Countertops
Cabinets sanded Painted
Bathrooms Tiled
Problems: Extremely Poor Installation and Defective Work All around.
-Baseboards uncaulked and sloppy cuts are exposed.
-Incorrect Finish on Cabinets (Color and Finish chosen without consulting me the Owner)
-Bare Spots in Cabinet Paint
-Paint Drip Areas
-Bare Tile Edges exposed. Schluter was to be installed as discussed in early stages, but were not.
-Poor Tile installation (Chipped Tiles, Messy uneven Grout, Faulty Pattern and no grout in some places, Tiles not vertical or flush with wall and lean)
-Extremely messy inconsistent Caulking in shower and plumbing fixture (Holes in Caulking allowing water ingress)
-Loose plumbing Fixtures
-Leaky Plumbing (Fixed with Half Effort, and Fixtures are still loose)
-Incorrect Installation of Toilets and not fastened to Flange/foundation, Owner not notified of faulty Toilet Flanges; crew proceeded with install. Toilets now wobble and one fell over while cleaning restroom. They refuse to re-install because they claim I damaged it.
Receptacle Covers not installed ( receptacles pulled out from wall and Wires left Exposed)
Extremely Poor Communication pertaining to issues while proceeding without addressing with Home Owner.
However, replacement Shower in Master was addressed and I agreed to replace it, but was a frustrating Shower Situation: When I Agreed to replace the shower it was selected by the contractor, which I told him would not work unless it could be modified on site. I confirmed the Tempered glass shower purchased could not be modified. He assured me it would and we would make it work or we would figure it out. It was later determined it would NOT work and I had to buy a custom shower, which I purchased for an additional cost. I was then told by a contact at Ybarra to return the shower and that the difference in cost would be covered by Ybarra. I was pleased, but then The Contractor then told me there was a misunderstanding and they would not cover the difference.
Dishonest Assurance: I moved out of the house for their convenience and I was constantly reassured everything would be ""Perfect"" and to ""trust the Process"".
Contractor made empty promises and later went back on his word.
Drop Cloths not used nor was this communicated up front.
I Attempted to address issues, but responses were childish and focused on preventing any repair or Consumer Satisfaction. It was an unreasonable effort to correct an awful tile floor installation in the master bathroom.
I reported additional issues, and there was aggressive refusal and I was pressured for checks.
Contract was sloppy and completed incorrectly. Payment plan was not followed as agreed upon up front. The contractor tried to add cost to the project. My ignorance in this work was taken advantage of. I want to prevent this from happening to anyone else.
Positives:
Counter Tops are nice and well-installed, but separate from Ybarra
Shower Glass is nice and well installed, but separate from Ybarra
Flooring pretty Good installation, but uncaulked baseboards ruin it.
Bottom Line: Avoid Adrian and his F-Grade crew.

Quality is terrible. I would give a zero review.
Their work should be criminal.
Tile pattern does not match and tin spots tile was not cut to the correct size, therefore the grout is extremely uneven. The grout work in both bathrooms is extremely messy. They ended up getting grout on the walls and covered it with paint. The paint does not match so now have to pay someone to come in and paint walls.
Only primed the cabinets instead of painting.
Did not caulk baseboards or cover the nail holes.
Did not secure all the baseboards.
Did not put toilets in correctly. Left tile rough and jagged sticking out. Left the shower leaking due to bad plumbing. Did not use drop clothes and left the house in a disarray. When confronted throughout the process the worker was extremely rude and refused to fix. Very aggressive and scary behavior. Everything that was promised was not done. There is only one thing done that not have to be redone and that was regular house flooring. Have reached out to corporate with no response.
They did come and fix one leak but after almost a week still no toilets.

Ismael was the best . I felt so much better after Ismael came and visited us. his communication skills were excellent and I knew I had someone to call if I needed it.

The worst. Agressive smug poor service. Really aggressive sales people. Run run run. Seriously.

I hired Ybarra in the beginning of June to do remodeling of my bathrooms and kitchen to be finished by July 31st. There were a few red flags and bumps but I felt they were getting resolved until it came to my kitchen cabinets. I was taken to a cabinet company and told I was getting their cabinets. When the cabinets arrived they weren't even assembled and were not the same quality as well as from a different company. I told them as soon as they replaced these cabinets for the ones I was promised, I wanted to end our agreement, even though I had already paid for my kitchen. That was a month ago. It has and continues to be a nightmare. The cabinets are better than the first, however, they are still not to par nor have the components that I was originally told. I would not trust this company at all.

Ybarra came and helped me with my roof after a small leak had started. I was impressed on how quickly they were able to get the project started. they were finished within a bath and has also helped me repairing the spot with the leak. I will definitely use them again for other projects.
highly recommend

Unfortunately, I needed a roof replacement. it's not anything that anybody wants to do but it is part of owning a home.
Mark and Danny were the representatives who reached out to schedule a time and they worked around my schedule to meet me in the evening hours. They were very thorough on their inspection and caught things I had not.
This was not insurance covered so I was a little concerned about the cost. They explained the scope of work they would complete and an estimated time of completion ""with no surprises"". There is usually something with construction.Their bid include 20% of any redecking that needed to be done.
After receiving several bids these guys were down to earth, realistic with their prices and honest with their commitment.
They were very attentive, easy to reach and were able to schedule for the next day. Any questions I had they were quick to answer and thoroughly explained.
The roofing crew arrived very early in the morning, as it is very hot and got started right away and we're done around noon. 1800 sq ft roof.
They laid out tarps to catch debris, cleaned up any loose nails and made sure everything was mint condition.
Mark and Danny returned in the evening to follow up and review the project. Making sure I was satisfied with the work, even though I paid full in advance , but they took the time to follow up.
Will be using on future projects.
Ybarra professional builders with Integrity.

Thanks to Eliga and team for the project in Dallas! My house looks great!!

We hired Ybarra professional builders to remove our old wooden deck and replace it with a beautiful stamped concrete patio. We are very happy with the quality, and were surprised how fast our project was finished. Project manager Ilya did well to listen to our ideas, and offered helpful suggestions in planning. He did well to work around our busy schedules, was quick to answer all our questions, and made sure we were satisfied with all aspects of the project. We look forward to having Ybarra do other projects for us in the future.

Project wasn't delivered as discussed. Project was initially bid for an expansion to the driveway. However, we discussed a firepit too, but we're informed that it needed to be done by Tuesday, as the ""product"" was coming from another project and needed to be used. Tuesday came and went until the following Tuesday. While they were setting the forms for the driveway, they informed me that there was No curb (the driveway backs up to a sreep ravine). I was then informed that it would be an additional $3,300 for the curb. The curb was discussed at the initial consultation.
