My home in Houston flooded during Hurricane Harvey. I contacted Xtrac Restoration by email. Frank, the owner, immediately responded. He showed up at my flooded home as soon as we could get in. The insurance company inspector and Frank were there for hours. Frank said he was knowledgeable on FEMA and insurance processes and also promised me that he would be with me along the way. I hired Xtrac and lo and behold, he and his team of workers were there for all of the home restoration. From gutting to move-in. It took a while because they had to get all the city permits for plumbing, electrical, and building. And, patience on my part. These things are not like the home fixer uppers on tv. It took many months, but, I was one of the first two on my street to get back in. They completely remodeled my kitchen. Had custom cabinets made on site. Many other amenities. So happy that I hired them!! They were with me from beginning to end.

Had the roof replaced and found a few exposed nail heads. The foreman told me ""it's not good, but it's ok. We will of course cover it with sealant."" After complaining to the owner, the foreman came back and told me it was a language barrier and fixed it. BUT it would have never been done if I hadn't questioned their ""expertise"" I will NEVER use this company again and I would never recommend it to anyone. They do shoddy work and their employees are not trustworthy.

Xtrac is very straight forward in their communication, nothing hidden to surprise you later. Had them put new energy star 30 yr shingles on roof back in Dec'15 and very pleased with the process with insurance. No headaches. I also negotiated for them to replace the decking with radiant barrier plywood and so glad I did for the 2016 Summer was very hot but house was cooler and my electric bill much lowe. Xtrac said my bill would drop and they were right. They work swiftly and clean up thoroughly. Very pleased.

Xtrac Restoration completed my roof in a quick one day work, they came early in the morning and finished late evening, no delay until next day, the job finished with a good quality and nice service. I am happy with my new roof.

The owner tried to convince me that a massive amount of work needed to be done, including ripping out walls, cabinets, counters, etc., which was completely unnecessary for the small amount of flood water that was in my house. Then he never even sent me a quote. I called several days later asking where the quote was. He came across as unconcerned and disinterested and he said he'd check on it. It never came; he never called back or followed up. I took time off of work to meet him and inspect my house and property, which caused me lost wages. Total waste of time and money.

Xtrac began our work by installing a new roof and they did such an excellent job that we increased the scope of their work by having them refinish our wood floors, repaint the entire interior, add guttering, install wood stairs, and more. The jobs were completed in a timely manner, their workers were friendly and efficient, and it was always easy to contact someone when we needed to. I would gladly recommend them for any work needed and plan on using them again myself as needs arise! I cannot recommend them more highly!!

Xtrac just finished my roof, and I am glad to give them a good review here. It was a very positive experience. They did good work, excellent follow up, and excellent pricing. By chance I managed to catch a guy in the neighborhood and asked him a few questions that led to having my roof replaced (and it needed it very badly) and I'm so glad I did it. As will all services of this nature I always go in with high skepticism hoping I'm hiring a good business that I can trust. They came through in every regard! I highly recommend them.
