I was looking for a reputable solar company to give me a quote for installing 10 solar panels on my roof. I had part of the equipment needed and wanted to purchase other pieces. I met Dwayne (the owner) at a home show in March. I was told they could do this job but since I lived in Douglas City I would be charged for coming up to estimate the job. I felt that was fair since they would take the fee off if they got the job. They would call me to set a time.
I waited & waited giving them the benefit of the doubt. After many phone calls WSU sent someone up to estimate. He said he would get back with me and again I waited & waited. After many more phone calls I spoke with the person who had come up to estimate (which I never received)
After 3 months and many phone calls later I was given an apology and told the owner feels the job would be too costly for them to come up.

I had asked months ago if they really wanted to do this job or should I look elsewhere. I was told yes we want the job.
I believed in this company's integrity. I was really taken in by them. I feel they should have been honest and just say ""no, you live too far away"" (45 min). They shouldn't have left me hanging.

We recently hired WSC to put a new roof on our house in Manton CA. Josh headed up the project and I can't say enough good things about him and the company. They got the job done in record time. The outcome was exceptional. We are so glad to have found WSC.

I cannot say enough good things about WSC. From our initial meeting with them to go over the options, to their responsiveness, to the actual job, they were outstanding. Everyone involved with the project was prompt, professional, and took the time to answer any questions. The solar array we put in was pretty big and I really wanted to get it operational by the end of the year, and WSC totally delivered! Everything went exactly as they had planned, even down to getting the necessary permits. These guys truly do care and get the job done right. Highly recommended!!

After 3 months waiting for an electrical panel and backup generator, I finally had to give up. WSC applied for a permit using the wrong address and after 13 days of waiting for an update after repeated attempts, I had to fire them. They had no intention of ever doing the job, but collected a $1000 deposit. I've been out of power 10 days in the 3 months I've been waiting. The employees are friendly, but poorly managed and organized. My wife hasn't been able to work during all the downtime, but, if we'd hired anybody else, she wouldn't have missed work. When I raised this issue, they didn't care.

When you see a tiny outfit with few reviews all positive, they typically don't do much business and the feedback may not be genuine. With so many people wanting to work during a pandemic, it really makes you wonder. I got burned from not consulting Yelp and blindly trusting a manufacturer recommendation; who likely gets a commission. This experience is a perfect example of why Yelp exists.

I hired WSC for a few projects. They replaced my roof, installed tile in the living room and kitchen and a solar tube. I was very impressed with their pricing and quality of work. The office staff was professional, upbeat and made me feel like family. I'm referring them to all my neighbors.

What a great company. So prompt with returning my request for a quote. We didn't end up getting a system because our usage is so low but I'd still recommend you have Stacy it her team come by to see if solar is a good thing for you!
