We hired Randy Wolfe to fix some shingles on our house, to my surprise, he had gone up on our roof and fixed some leaks. Then presented us with a bill that was $500.00 higher than what we expected.
In my opinion, if you're going to do extra work, make sure the owner wants the work done in the first place: get an approval.
We paid him and Randy told us not to worry, if a leak happens, he would come and take care of us. Well, a leak did happen, we called him and he went on and on about how we didn't point out that leak and that he has to make money as well.
How could I have pointed out any leaks, when we did not ask him to go on the roof in the first place? He didn't ""take care of us"" as he promised and I have been disappointed with him ever since.

Great job by Wolfe Roofing. My roof required fixing with material that is not sold anymore. Randy had the same material in storage from 20 years ago. Many roofing companies only wanted to replace my roof. Randy was able to fit me in between new roof jobs. He is extremely busy so only negative was that I had to chase him.

I had Wolfe roofing out to do an inspection, clean out gutters, and replace some broken tiles on my roof . I was charged over 700 $ and when they were finished I noticed they had cracked one of my tiles while cleaning out the gutter.. he said he'd replace it or patch it, but after three phone calls and not being able to locate a tile I ended up patching it up myself. Two things. I shouldn't have to tell you that a tile was broken, you should tell me. And two, If you crack a tile when your working on a roof I shouldn't have to climb up there after you to fix myself. For the price his work to me was average.

The owner has been in the roofing business for many years, and I hope he stays in business for many years to come. We need honest business people like him.
