Fantastic work. WKL just finished two roofs for us, and they both look wonderful. Their crew is extremely hard working, and every night (yes, night - they worked 12 hour days!) they cleaned up property. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive but definitely the best.

We have a home in Ormond By the Sea and WKL fixed our roof promptly and have never had a problem. Along with the house, there is a flat roof florida room, and we were worried about leaks in the flat roof but, again, no problems. Everything was done within a day and a half. They showed up on time, worked all day, and cleaned up everything. Will highly recommend WKL to anyone who needs a shingle or flat roof.

I can not stress how greatly I do not recommend and warn against WKL Roofing. My experience has been one of the worst I've had with a company of any sorts.

There are the things that were done we done well. The workmanship on the roof itself is good overall. My main issues come from professionalism, customer service, and conflict resolution.

To begin, the issues began the first day of work. They apparently have no ability to check the weather. My roof was stripped and then it began to down pour. Enough to overfill neighboring pools and flood into my ceiling causing it to collapse. This would have been entirely preventable if someone had checked the weather on their team. There was no attempt by anyone on their team to help catch the water pouring through or to help clean the water flooding my home. Due to the section that collapsed showing signs of older water damage of a non-current leak I was placed at fault for this and they refused to fix it in its entirety. They said that it would have come down anyways if someone were to have even hammered above it. This is simply untrue as there were no visible signs of damage before this rain.

They met midway with rehanging the dry wall. After some time they sent workers who were not equipped to handle the job. They showed up 3.5 hours late. Took 3.5 hours to cut down he old dry wall and hang the new piece. This ended up being a full day of work missed. In this time they did not give any forewarning of the large mess they would be making. This room holds highly valuable instruments and electronics. The entire room was caked in dust with no attempt to clean. They put my drop cloth beneath the hole into the yard where it rained. There were multiple nails and razor blade left on the floor of the room as well. We have cats and children that come around so this is a great hazard. One of these went into my roommates bare foot. The drywall hung is broken with over and under sunken screws allowing the ceiling to hang loosely. They agreed to come rehang the drywall but have no such attempt. They have completely stopped returning any calls.

A brief interlude before the next major issue. When my roommate would go out to smoke as work was being done, the workers would consistently try to talk to her / make moves, making her uncomfortable. Non of these men would speak to myself and this extremely unprofessional behavior.

The second and largest issue that arose was the misplacement of a skylight. I took on the responsibility of doing the interior work to save a chunk of change. When I went to cut the hole on the inside where I had marked in spray paint as requested by WKL and as well as giving the exact measurements of its placement they were an entire foot off. They did not respond about this issue for nearly a week in which I wasn't going to let a hole in my ceiling to exist letting hot summer air into my home. I framed it and completed the work because it was workable but not what I paid for. It is now off center of the room and there has been no attempt by WKL to remedy this situation.

If you have issues with this company after your roofing service they will not get back to you. They will not take your calls. Anyone who you can talk to can only relay information that goes no where. If you do have discussions about issues they do not take notes and you will end up having the conversation over and over again before they stop responding all together.

Communication of this business internally and to their customers is some of the worst I have experienced. Due to lack of good faith of WKL's part this will be taken to small claims court to resolve the damages and incompletion of the job. Do not use this company. They don't give a crap about you or your property.

It has been 7 months since WKL left the roof off of the house for a week and the rain poured into several rooms. They have refused to give us the name of a contractor or set up dates for someone to repair the damage. We reached out by email, calls, and texts to staff and the owner. The owner was often rude at one point stated ""You are just a nurse, what do you know about mold?"" Well actually, as a professor with a Master's degree, quite a bit! At least they had the air mold tested 3 months after the leak.
We have been more than patient and unfortunately we are left with making this a public record.
My living room is largely unusable and an embarrassment when we have people over since the ceiling is just unfinished drywall and water damaged drywall.

All we want is for them to repair the stuff they damaged and return it to it's original condition. Is that too much too ask?

First I never got to the point of having this company fix my roof because I couldn't get any responses back. When I noticed a leak in my roof I call the office and left a message with the receptionist. Kevin who I believe is the K in WKL Roofing called me back and was able to come over to my house and take a look at the issue the next day. He said he would get a estimate back to me and we can go from there. A week and a half later I sent a text to Kevin and a call to the office leaving a message still no estimate. Since then I have gone with a different roofing repair person.

Not a great company in my view! Had one of the owners out to give an estimate and after a few weeks I followed up never getting a response or an estimate! Total waste of my time. If your in business to provide a service and you don't follow up it's called bad customer service! Stop wasting people's valuable time! Glad I found a better company, it truly makes a difference when a company truly appreciates your business!

I highly recommend WKL. Reasonable quality work. Slight delay in scheduling due to COVID-19 as suppliers were shut down. Once things opened back up job got done as planned. Great communication the entire time.

I had my roof replaced about 3 years ago by WKL Roofing. At the end of the job I noticed a couple of things that were supposed to be done but were not done, and brought it to their attention before they left. They still neglected to do them and had to be called back. Last year after a hurricane there was some damage and I had a very hard time getting an appointment or even a call back. Finally, I was told that the damage was not covered by the warranty. I was very rudely accused of being rude and was disgusted with their handling of the situation. They did not stand by the warranty and I had to hire someone else to do the job. About 2 weeks ago there was again some damage resulting from a short but violent storm. My phone calls were not returned. Getting an appointment was very difficult and there was plenty of lack of consideration for the customer. Again, they refused to do the work that was covered by the warranty. First time I just moved on and hired someone else to do their job. This time... welcome to Yelp!
