Here are my feelings and opinions:I feel that Bill Sumner was extraordinarily rude and insulting to me before, during, and particularly after
the $22,000 job he did on my residence. There was no fee dispute. I paid immediately. I was polite. I fear that he is
a victim of his own success. He no longer has to be nice to clients, so he was not, at least not to me. After the job he wrote me stinging emails
(I still have them) the likes of which I have never endured from any other contractor.
He was never able to find any record of having done my job. That's good because I fear physical reprisal
from him. I see him as just that kind of guy. Owner need not explain. I see hostility for what it is.

Even with how busy they were after Hurricane Irma they got back to me in a timely manner! Bill never pressured us into anything. He actually encouraged me to do my research. Bill kept us updated every step of the way. When it came time for our reroof project to start the crew was always on time, hard working, dedicated professionals. I can definitely see why Bill has been in business so long. He only uses the best materials and crew and you can tell! Our roof looks impeccable! Bill is an excellent owner and very easy to work with and does exactly what he says he will, a man of integrity. Mitch, the on site foreman stays on top of the job and follow ups continually and us a good manager of time, products and manpower. This roofer did my dad's roof and he raves about how the owner or manager of the site was professional and was above the standard. For my Dad to rave about a company, they must've done something right.

Tried to get an estimate. They didn't even want to be bothered w/out me guaranteeing to hire them. How do you hire someone who's unwilling to do the first step. Never had this experience. Hurricane Irma has given them enough business their customer service skills took a back seat. Sad.

I've heard great things from neighbors but the salesman who came out was a total jerk. He acted like I was wasting his time because I said I wasn't planning to do it until this winter but wanted to get some pricing now. He basically grumbled ""I don't have time for unserious customers or shoppers"". Uhm, hello sir, I am a real customer... Just because I'm not doing it this instant doesn't mean I'm not going to call you back in 6-9 months?!? I wanted to know what kind of ball park cost I was looking at-- I had no idea whether a quality roof would cost $5k or $50k and wanted to start budgeting NOW. Needless to say, I went with someone else. Their salesman was a pompous bleep who acted like he was God's gift to roofing.
