I had a great experience with Wind Mitigation Retrofit Solutions. Not only they are professional and have a great attitude, but they are extremely honest. They did an inspection to my attic free of charge, and let me know that the roof already has hurricane straps and is up to code, and that, therefore, I did not need their service. Finding an honest company is essential for these type of jobs, that most people can't really evaluate themselves. I will not hesitate a bit calling them again for my next project.

""Wind Mitigation???""....who knew?!? Welcome to Florida! We were originally quoted $18k/YEAR for WIND ONLY INSURANCE!! I nearly passed out! Thankfully, Jackie and his team were able to get our roof as secure as is can be and now our insurance is $4k/year...NOT $18k!!!! I recommend hiring Wind Mitigation Retrofit as the owner Jackie is responsive, trustworthy and gets the work done as promised. During the frustrating process of searching for a replacement wind insurance after being dropped from our existing one, it was suggested to add clips or wraps to the original 1952 roof of our home to reduce premiums. His company was available to install this and save us about $1300 annually.
His quote was a bit higher in comparison but they completed the work.
Looking forward we will have a few years of utilizing this discount plus know the house is that more secure during hurricane season.
