I hired Wilson Roofing to install a new roof following a hail storm. They were not the low bid & one reason I chose them was they found damage not included in the insurance adjusters report. They said they would resubmit and could have it added to my claim. This was never done despite all the promises. In fact I Tami fed them about 30- days before the filing deadline. Someone came out & took measurements & they never filed the claim. It was all a lie to get my business. I deeply resent their attitude & would never recommend a firm that works this way...there are too many other good choices. Crooks!!

Wilson roofing is hands down the best in Austin. They have been serving the austin community for years and were recommended to me by several people. I'm so glad I decided to use them because they were extremely professional & easy to communicate with! 10/10

Very professional and hard working crew. They quoted me a very good price and I appreciated how things were explained to me. Great company!

A rainstorm had loosened the flashing at the base of my 'stovepipe fireplace chimney' on the roof of my house. Wilson Roofing checked that chimney flashing, and secured it better with screws instead of roofing nails, stopping the water leak into the pantry closet in the kitchen. They then checked and secured all other flashing points on the roof, along with any wind damage to the ridge-vents running along the ridges on the top of the roof itself. I was 13 years into a 30-year dimensional roof, and felt no other repairs needed to be made. But, be aware of future very strong straight line winds, in the Austin area, because even without hail damage, they can still damage your house roof, and cause hidden water leaks.
My house had been built in 1981, and several hidden flashing problems had appeared over time. I wanted a minor flashing problem to be permanently fixed. Wilson Roofing sent out a very experienced carpenter, who removed the old cedar shake between two roof levels on the front of the house, and replaced the original two-piece metal flashing channel with one custom piece of metal flashing channel, and using a newer siding material, to replace the old cedar shake itself. (Wilson has their own custom metal forming shop, and apparently the original builder did not in 1981, or chose not to use it, when a custom length of flashing was needed). Wilson then painted the replaced siding to match the rest of the house siding color. Now, thanks to custom metal work by Wilson Roofing, the original leak from 1981 no longer exists!
Two problems were fixed in the same contract, and their work was excellent: an original construction mistake from 1981, and the need to secure roof flashing better, in this new era of stronger and stronger storms, sweeping across Central Texas, and the rest of the country.

After a kitchen remodel exposed and remediated water intrusion near an exterior door, I called Wilson Roofing to determine the source and rehabilitate my metal roof to prevent the old problem recurring. It was a pricey estimate, but since it also included (at my request) the replacement of all screws on the roof, I was willing to see it through. The work was completed in a single day, by a single person. A few days later it rained and I could see the paint bulging again. Wilson was quick to dispatch their ""metal expert,"" who after tightening some loose screws (?!) said everything would be ok. Rains next day--not ok. They return and look around. Unable to generate any other solutions, I am told, ""there is no water in the wall."" Even though they cracked the paint rubbing their hands over the bubbling wall, this was the story they wanted to stick to. All efforts to reach Wilson since have gone ignored. Two stars in hopes this is not the end of the story.

We have used Wilson Roofing on several different occasions and have always gone beyond the scope. In particular, they had to replace some shingles where a tree overhang had scraped them off, and they trimmed the trees back enough to where that would not be a problem for awhile. They just completed some repairs today, and we actually watched their guy nail in parts of our pergola that had come loose. Definitely not part of the scope, but greatly appreciated! He also looked for a leak that may have been causing water damage over a window, and that was not
in the roof repair category, either. I will continue to call them whenever we need a trusted roofer.

During tree work a large hole got punched through the garage roof. New to town, I requested a recommendation for the repair from our tree guy. He gave me Wilson's #......they took care of business the next morning before the rain hit.....nice repair job and just in time!

Wilson goes above and beyond to get the job done. Prompt responses, professional inspectors, an Austin original! Cody, Mark, James, and Kim are all ready to jump in when I have called in for help. Great workmanship and clean job site. Cody came out and patched the roof before a major rain because they were not able to work at our home before the rain, diverting major leaking that could have occurred without the patch.

I can't review their work but I can certify their workers are rude, disrespectful trespassers. After completing work on my next-door neighbors property, while I was standing in my own yard in clear view working, one of their workers stopped at our driveway entrance, got out and used the construction toilet within my property line. (We're at the tail end of a remodel). I politely approached him and told him this wasn't an open construction site, he wasn't working at our property and that he was trespassing...and if he had simply asked to use it, I would have said yes. He stormed off and called me a ""F-ing A-hole"" and sped down the hill.

Roof work was done quickly but those doing the accounting are a disaster. Did not bill me and then sent to wrong address even though they had my current contact info. The president texted me with no identifying information and said to ""call him"". Very unprofessional. Will go elsewhere next time.
