In 2009, Williford Roofing replaced our roof for us. At the time, we were satisfied. Fast forward to last year, October 2021. My husband had just been diagnosed with cancer in August. During a heavy 24 hours of rain, our roof started leaking. So my husband calls Williford and they send someone out to assess the roof. At this point, my husband was still well enough to be the one handling the leak and dealings with Williford Roofing. However, in the middle of October, we found out his cancer had spread aggressively and my husband went into home hospice. A few weeks into November I asked him about when Williford was supposed to do our roof repairs. He didn't know, so I called. They had sent an estimate/contract and apparently it just needed a signature and for us to return it, so I did that. They NEVER called to schedule the repair time. My husband died December 7. A week later my Dad called them to ask about the repair and they told him they would call us back. They NEVER called back. NO repair has even been scheduled, much less done. And on January 13, 2022 I received a PAST DUE bill for roof repairs that HAD NOT BEEN done. I called to ask someone about the bill and the receptionist said she would have a project manager call back. NEVER CALLED BACK! I called the next day and the receptionist transferred me to the office manager, who didn't pick up, so I left a detailed message with my name and phone number. NO RETURN CALL AGAIN!! So on January 20, I again called, and left a message. again, NO CALL BACK. Mind you, I've got this ""past due bill"", in my LATE HUSBAND's name, and NO ONE is returning my call. My last attempt to contact someone, anyone, to get some help was this week, January 23. Again, I had to leave a message on voicemail and again, I haven't received a call back. This is the FIFTH time I've tried to contact someone. I have a past due bill, for work that was NEVER DONE. And I've also, since then, had another roofer look at my roof and he told me the ORIGINAL roof that Williford Roofing installed was done improperly and THAT is what has caused the leaks to begin with. And I have the pictures of my roof documenting it. This company's customer service is disgraceful. And they clearly do not want or need my business. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
They did well on my roof 3 years ago but other construction work, I would not recommend them for. I had a rep come out to give a quote to replace a bathroom sliding glass window. He said they could only replace with a single pane window. He did not measure the window either. Then, after giving me a ball park figure of 600 to 800, they sent me a quote of $1150. It really seemed like they didn't want the job.
Susan P.After 14 years we discovered that the original roof that our house was built with had some issues. It was never installed correctly around the dormers. The flashing wasn't done correctly We had severe leakage coming through our dormer area into our dining area around the window.. So instead of having just a Band-Aid to fix it for the next 3-4 years we decided to put on a new roof. We did three estimates. They were not the lowest but were the median between the two other estimates. Ee felt like they would be there for us in the future if there were any issues and that is why we chose to go with them.. Daniel Sinclair and David were in constant contact with us daily. As a company went beyond the call of duty to make sure we were satisfied and happy with the end result. I will say that we are very extremely pleased and very satisfied as a customer and will recommend them to anybody that asks us about our roof. They did a very thorough job of cleaning up our yard and the surrounding area of our house.
Whitney Z.They came to fix an issue that happened when the previous owner of the house got the roof done. Although it was hard to get them to commit to a day/time, they finally came out, fixed the issue and did a very nice job. Happy that they were willing to stand by their work.
Would not recommend. Provided estimate for repairs to roof. I accepted their estimate then had to constantly reach out to them to see when they could start. One day a crew shows up unannounced ready to work. No one on the crew could speak English when I questioned the drip edge they installed was not straight Roofing felt listed on estimate was not installed and they charged me extra for items they knew they had to repair. When I asked for them to correct their invoice they became very hostile and unprofessional. Very dishonest company. Stay away!
WARNING! After receiving a contractor recommendation, I contacted Williford roofing, received a quote and paid a deposit. The deposit check was cashed the next day, but a week later I still had not heard from Williford to schedule the job. I called the office, they said Daniel Sinclair should have contacted me. When Mr. Sinclair finally called me he blamed the Williford Office for not notifying him. I was concerned, discussed my hesitation and Mr. Sinclair promised me his best crew would start the following week, 8:00 AM. The crew didn't show and I called Mr. Sinclair to understand why not. He indicated the crew was not allowed inside the gate, but he would have the problem remedied by the next day. Day 2, same story, no crew on site. but a different excuse. I did receive a refund check 5 days after Mr. Sinclair promised the check would be delivered. Nothing Williford or Mr. Sinclair said was truthful, sadly this review cannot characterize the work that would have been completed because Williford couldn't begin the job.
Great estimate, good price, great job. They removed the old roof and put the new one on in one day. I appreciate their hard work and cleanup. I recommend this company.
Lisa B.These guys are amazing!! I would have posted a review earlier but didn't realize Yelp had a place to review. They did our new roof in Feb 2019. Danial was prompt and easy to talk to about options. Highly recommend them for your new roof.
One star is too generous. I needed a professional to come out and evaluate the cause of why water was coming into my living room. Williford came and within 5 minutes (no water tests, no getting on the roof) diagnosed the problem as bad flashing around the chimney at a cost of $850. They performed the work (very messy flashing job). The next rain, water was still coming in the house. Williford came back and now said it wasn't the flashing but one side of the roof needed new shingles, cost $700. Work was performed and water was still coming in the house. They came back and now said it wasn't a problem with the roof but rather the chimney. Do NOT use Williford. Now dealing with them in small claims court. Williford does not respond and customer service is the least of their concern.
Called Tuesday to ask someone to check our roof for leak. I was told someone would call me as soon as possible. Never heard a word after giving them email and phone numbers. Called Friday. Spoke with someone else. They asked for the same information - told me ""the office is very busy right now"". I have called 5 times since Tuesday and no one has returned my calls. The advertisements on radio and TV that rave about how professional are not what I have experienced. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
