Fraudulent! Over 6 months after the initial bid/contract, they came to ""fix"" our roof; place flashing and replace subfloor. The workers worked for an hour or two, replaced some boards and left.

Well the leak is the same or worse, no flashing was placed, no check of leak done. We asked Wicks to send out DIFFERENT workers as the first ones were un-cooperative and barely spoke english. They sent the same workers out, and they were very rude, and refused to do anything, claiming they had finished their job.

We have filed a complaint with the BBB and they are ignoring the BBB.

Now they're filing a lien against the home. We just want them to do what they promised! How many times do you have to ask politely to get someone to do their job?

I called for roofing and solar and Wick's roofing gave me a date and time for 2 weeks out for when they would be out to do a walk around and give us a quote . My wife and I took the day off i called 2 days before to confirm are appointment and time they would be out to are home I got a text message as well confirming are appointment . After waiting all morning I called 15 minutes before 12:00 for lunch time and no answer got voicemail saying they were at lunch from 12-1 pm I only called because we haven't heard from them they are late by a hour a haven't called to let us know what's happening. I called Santa Barbra office and canceled . If a contractor can't be on time for an estimate then they won't be on time for the work or completion of their work . Terrible customer service they get one star because it doesn't go any lower

Wicks Solar and roofing completed their work on my home. the new roof looks great and the solar is working like a charm! Great install crew, supervisors and office staff.

The company showed up on time and I received a roof estimate the same day to fix multiple water leaks inside of the house. I believe their prices are competitive. They showed up on time to do the job and I believe did great work although it's not rained yet. They always responded promptly to my inquiries. All employees were quite pleasant. No one brought dogs, used fowl language or played music. I recommend you include them when getting estimates but remember to consider other factors than cost.

Wicks came out when we purchased our home to give an estimate on a roof leak we knew we had. They said they would get the work done in two weeks. They were unresponsive for several weeks. Finally I got a hold of them and they said they could get to it in another couple of weeks. After two months of back and forth and the first rain storm approaching, I gave up and called another roof company. I get being busy, but I didn't like being strung along and them being unresponsive after giving us a quote.

Dave Jones did our initial inspection and he tactfully showed me where the original tile installation was done incorrectly. We pulled up tiles to find deteriorated felt and rotting wood battens because the original flashing was poorly installed, tile layout was sloppy, and the plumbing flashing were all undersized units intended for comp roofs. Then he showed me where Kyle roofers had incorrectly flashed during a supposed repair for a skylight a few years earlier.
My background is decades of engineering, so I can confidently say that Dave was spot on.

John gave me a bid on several repair or replacement options, and was straightforward, clear and as time would tell, very honest. He never tried to gouge for some additional work for some undetected damage that was later discovered. Conversely, he was quite fair. Because my re-roof job was more complicated than most, he visited the work twice to make sure everything was going well. Keep in mind that this is a man who's normally tied to the office. The crew, Pablo and Jose, were great. I dealt mostly with Pablo, who I later learned had forty plus years of experience, and this man and his partner truly care about doing a quality job. They went above and beyond to do things right, and let me know what they'd done. Hats off to them.

I have a neighbor with a skybox view of my roof, and they were so impressed with the work that they are requesting a bid from Wicks for their new roof.

I can't believe people are posting reviews based on how a Wicks truck was supposedly driven or parked. Sounds contrived to me. You should have to be an actual customer to write a review.

I initially selected Wick's to install my solar battery backup system because I was fed up with the extremely poor customer service at Tesla for my solar system originally installed by Solar City. I really wanted a local option. Not only did Jared and his team provide me with a superior, clean installation, they took over the solar monitoring system, provided a great dashboard on my home computer to monitor my solar performance. They worked tirelessly to ensure the complicated process of applying for and receiving a PG&E check (not a government rebate or credit) for allowing the power company to use excess battery power when needed was completed succesfully. I could not be more pleased with my choice. Steve C.

I have been working with Cory on new metal siding from Wick's and I can't say enough good things. He has really gone out of his way to make sure we are taken care of, and has made sure that everything is squared away and accounted for. Great communication, reliable, and honest. We will be sure to use Wicks for all of our siding, roofing, and solar needs in the future!

These were great. John saw how the roof had the flashing around the chimminy and advise that we most likely had rotted wood because of the way the rain water would flow. And he was dead on. They pulled the tiles and paper back and the flake was rotted and had been eaten by termites. When I met their guys speaking with them it was clear they were very competent in their work. Nice guys too. Communication was not perfect but above average compared to the contracting world. The work looks great and of course we will see once it rains but so far its been a great experience. We had quoted another roofer who didn't suggest anything about the drainage or tell us until later that they couldn't do it in time for my close.

Wicks Roofing just finished our New Roof absolutely love it! True professionals they changed the look of our house went from shingles to a light weight tile the workers were very conscientious even with clean up! John Miles was a true profession from begging to end! Would definitely recommend this company very happy from beginning to end!
