I spent 4 years looking into solar and spoke to nearly every company in the SF Bay Area. We had several presentations at our home. I won't dis some of the other companies but I will say that we chose to go with Wholly Solar for several compelling reasons. Our installation was a custom design originally started by my idea to use a back yard trellis. You can see our installation from the photos put up on Nov. 1. I had the trellis designed to be over a back yard bocci court. Most of the people who wanted to sell us solar only wanted a ""cookie cutter"" setup. Several told me that they could not use the Trellis even though it was designed, engineered and over built to solar use specifications. They either made deliberate false statements or they just did not know. This is where Mr. Anwar and his team came to us with a totally different approach. Before we signed a contract we did a really good walk through of our location and discussed what we wanted. Charlie told us that they could do exactly what we wanted, under budget and in a timely fashion. They performed on all counts. The installation team was exceptional. They worked for several days on the project and I was able to watch them work together as we had some design changes. Our Solar System is large for a home, about 18KW. We wanted to completely eliminate our bills. Mr. Anwar showed us the economics and explained that we did not need to have such a large system. When we insisted that we wanted no bills, Mr. Anwar and his team designed a fully custom system that included preparation for back up battery installation. I can not say enough good things about how the process and installation worked for us. And one more thing................. when I went out today and saw the electric meter running backwards....... what a treat. I highly recommend Wholly Solar without reservation.

Superb! From the initial planning to the installation and switchover to solar power - everything was excellent. Charlie Anwer and his team explained all that would be required after taking measurements and reviewing my power needs. They were courteous, clear with planning and financing descriptions, and they followed up with me whenever I had questions. I am very happy with the result. I did a lot of shopping for solar and no one was ready to put solar in Mountain House, CA with this price. It's not easy to work with MID(our power service provider). Charlie and Tom worked really hard with MID and finished the project. Very clean and beautiful installation.

You can definitely trust Charlie. If you are planning solar there is no better and faster option than Charlie.

This team is exceptional! Charlie and Tom know what they are doing - they did a careful site analysis, and kept me updated at every step. The electricians that did the installation were licensed professionals. There were no surprises and everything happened just as planned. They know they are in the service business and they do everything possible to provide the best service, and to make it a great experience for the customer. I couldn't be happier! I selected Wholly Solar based on my friend's recommendation last year. In conclusion, I have the highest recommendation for Charlie Anwar and his team for 3 reasons: 1) They offer good pricing. You may shop around and may found that they are the best in pricing, as compared to other companies. 2) They provide turn-key solution which includes creation of plans, approval from the city, installation, and sign-off from PG&E. 3) Their after-sale support is superb and they really care for their clients. Now I provide details of my interaction with them, and you may continue reading if you are not in a hurry. Installation on my Single Family Home did not went straight forward. There were couple of issues during installation which were resolved professionally. And then, after one month of installation, the telemetry card which sends the daily production was popped out of its slot. I complained them and told that my PG&E meter shows that solar production is in progress but I do not see updates on my cell phone. They sent their staff and the issue is fixed.

Absolutely wonderful experience getting solar panels installed on my house by Wholly Solar. Charlie Anwar contacted me and give me initial guidance on how the solar panel installation process work. There was no sales pressure. He gave me all the details and also the benefits and costs. He then gave me plenty of time to think about it. Then he helped me find the absolutely best method of financing the project. It saved me on taxes, got me clean energy rebated and no immediate out of pocket expenses. I even contacted some big giant solar companies and their quotes double price compared to Wholly Solar.

Once the project started, his team finished the installation really quickly and efficiently. Workers worked until there was no more light left before leaving and in two days the installation was complete. His workers were super friendly and courteous. They took care of all the city permits and inspections and were there to handle any issues that inspectors raised. I am very very happy with the whole process and the installation. I recently bought an electric car and now I can charge it at home for free with sun power. Good for me and good for the earth. Win-Win for us all.
