I cannot say enough good things about Whittles roofing. David Pabst, the owner is on the roof, on the job, every day. The estimate was spot on. He was willing to do extra things, like no roll-off dumpsters and no truck with crane for delivery. He also removed our old hardware cloth gutter guards (which were mis-applied and replaced them with sure-flow gutter guards. The workmanship is top notch. The spacing between rows is even. He replaced our off-ridge vents to on-ridge vents and they came out perfect. Mr Pabst answered my questions and explained things as they were doing them. Each day they cleaned up and they routinely used a magnet in the driveway to pick up any stray nails. At jobs end there is hardly any sign that they were here.
I am picky and involved. I have only good things to say.

Whittle's made a good estimate, not the lowest but not the highest. The worker spent a few hours each of three days in the heat and did a great job digging underneath some shingles, repairing damage, sealing flashings, and reconstructing the chimney box. I highly recommend them.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!! Don't use # WHITTLE's Roofing .

They put a roof on my house in August. We had two major leaks that went from the roof through the second floor down to 3 ft of the floor on the first floor. The brick on the outside wall was so saturated with water that you could visibly see it was wet for 2 weeks after the leak. The roof went on the 27th and 29th of August. The first leak was on Sept 9th and the second on Sept 16 after telling them about the second leak and they did nothing on the 9th until it leaked a week later on the 16th. The roof was not 100% installed leak free until Sept 30. David was the individual they sent to have do the indoor repair and he admitted to not knowing or having experience with plaster. They originally said we could have David or our own person do the repair. Not trusting David we had a few people come out and they told us they didn't want to say anything bad about Whittle's Roofing. In November after finally finding someone who would do the work and give us a quote I took it to Whittle's and again they did not respond. After calling them tonight they told us that they would only pay for David to finish work, give us our deposit back, or see us in court. Their is over 10k in home repair damage and at least 5k in personal property that's been damaged. And they complained to me that they already spent 7k in additional repairs because their crew did such a bad job. Do not use WHITTLE'S , terrible work followed with terrible customer service. If I could give ZERO rating I would, but this is the LOWEST RATING possible.
