We hired White Aluminum to do three projects: Install new windows in our mobile home, extend our carport and install new roofing over the carport and sunroom. The whole project has been nothing but problems.
1) The window installation: wrong size window was ordered for the kitchen, broken glass inside my home, screws, and other materials left on the ground all around my home.
2) Carport Extension: the carport started leaking as soon as the project was complete. Mutiple service people were out with tube after tube of sealant and caulk. Finally, the company sent out a team to take apart most to the project and redo the installation of all the top materials. When the top was removed there was a significant amount of water in the trays. This area does not leak now.
3) Roof over Sunroom: we reported a leak at least 2 months ago. Two service visits and we still have a leak. Our warranty clock is now ticking, and the company seems to be dragging their feet. We call, they say someone will get back to you. Our roof still LEAKS!

We have used White Aluminum many times and have be satisfied with their work. We used them In March 2024 to extend our lanai and have a panoramic view. These guys were AMAZING. I explained the job had to be done by March 28th and they were put behind because of the concrete guy. They worked 7:30 am to 7:30pm and I never saw them take a break only for lunch. White Aluminum was wonderful to deal with and the entire team was very professional. ""Cristian"" was amazing. They did a wonderful job of my new lanai and we couldn't be happier! Thank you White Aluminum and Cristian for your amazing team.

Barb and the guys were great. We decided to get vinyl that looks similar to the aluminum we already have. The communication was great the price was good we definitely would recommend this company. We are installing the siding ourselves.

This is a late review but I really need to vent on this company. If you are looking for quality, DO NOT PAY you bill until the work is completed to your satisfaction. It took them about 1 1/2 years to finish my lanai. They scratched the door, tried to spray paint made it worse(alligator skin). They it took 4 months, special trip back to Florida only to find out that they didn't tint the windows on the door. They tried to get me agree to put a film on the window(not what I paid for). They finally installed the door, and then there were leaks.

After a 1 1/2 years and many ""expert"" mechanics they finally fixed all they issues. That's because I did not make that final payment

They asked me to give them a 5 star rating and they would send me a check for 100.00. I thought that I would add this part in as I feel that the ratings for this company are very deceiving

Enclosed glass lanai, very sharp looking! Great workmanship and quality but can't seem to do their work when promised! Originally told 18 weeks wait time and it took 25 weeks! That's over a 30% difference and inexcusable for a company that's been in business this long! Either inform the salespeople of the correct wait times or send them on a vacation until you get caught up on passed sales! You'd think contractors would learn something from Scottie on Star Trek, under promise and over deliver, but they never do!

On August 7, 2020, I signed a contract with White Aluminum to install windows on my patio and a screen onto my garage door; Mike Gilley was their salesperson. At that time, I was told by Mike that they were behind, and would get to my job, next year sometime. At no time did he tell me that I would have to pay a deposit on the job or that a charge would be placed on my credit card for the full amount of the job. Mike told me that Synchrony Bank would pay the $2500.00, and I would pay them back later. I had no idea that White Aluminum would charge me card, for the $2500.00, days later. I believe the hold on my card was done to block me from hiring someone else, to do the job.

I found out on August 19th, through my email alert, that White Aluminum had placed a hold on my credit card for $8448.01, and I was furious. I contacted Mike and he claimed to not know about it and was supposed to get with the office. I called the office also and the manager was not nice at all. I don't remember the full conversation, but it was very frustrating. Then on the 21st of August, White Aluminum charged my credit card $2534.40 for the deposit. Again, I was highly upset; no one told me anything.

I once again contacted the office and Mike, this time to cancel the job; I also called Synchrony Bank and told them what happened. The Representative at the bank told me to call White Aluminum and tell them I want to cancel, and to remove the hold on my account. Of course, I did and of course White Aluminum didn't. Instead, Mike called to apologize and claimed that they would move my job in front of everyone, since they had charged my card the deposit.

On August 25th, Jeff from White Aluminum came to take measurement of the windows and he said he would get the application for the permit with the City put in - don't know if that ever happened because that was the last time I heard from anyone from White Aluminum.

Around October 13th, I contacted Mike to let him know that Synchrony Bank had contacted me to let me know, they needed to verify my social security number, so they had frozen my card - my social security was stolen during Equifax data breach so I had a fraud alert on my card. Mike told me they had ordered the windows, but I told him it should not take long for them to verify my identity.

And it did not take Synchrony Bank long to verify my identity; they called me on October 23rd to let me know my account had been unfrozen - they had verified my identity. I called Mike and left him a message; I also called White Aluminum office and spoke with two people, telling them what had happen - that my card was active again - one said he was the manage and his name was Michael. Michael rambled something like, he would check it out or something. But he never called me back. I again called Mike Gilley on Saturday the 24th, but he did not answer, and I left another message. By then, I was done with them and I am done with them now. All I want them to do, is remove the charge of $2534.40 from my credit card, and the hold on my credit card of $8448.01 - they did not earn that money, and have my card held up, so I cannot hire anyone else. That is just wrong.

Synchrony Bank cannot remove the hold; they said the merchant has to remove it. I was able to put a dispute in for the $2534.40, but that's going to take 60 days to resolve and if I lose, I still have to pay that money and for what? To a bunch of crooks, who took advantage of an elderly person and now I am stuck paying the bill. Plus, $8448.01 is a lot of my money, White Aluminum has tied up on my card; I cannot even hire anyone else and the bank can do nothing about it. This is highway robbery by White Aluminum; I did not authorize either of those transactions on my card - it is fraud.

I once again contacted the office of White Aluminum in Leesburg today, October 27, 2020, about removing the hold on my credit card of $8448.01, and the charge of $2534.40. After about 10 minutes of being on hold, Christine the manager, who is very rude, came to the phone. I told her I want them to remove the hold on my card and she said, ""WHY?"" in a rude tone!! As I begin to explain to her why, she kept interrupting me, and we got into a shouting match and I hung up!! These people are unreasonable and all they want is money!! There is no reason why they should be able to keep my money, when they have not done any work and will not be able to in a while. I have a voicemail from Mike Gilley from Saturday, October 24th, stating they were having problems getting the windows. So why can't they cancel the windows and remove the hold on my card? They are crooks and greedy for money. Mike lied to me in August when he said, they were putting me ahead of everyone else but now he says they cannot get the windows? He is a liar and the company should be shut down for taking people money and do bad business practices!!

Signed a contract for Sunroom 0n 02/27/19 and paid a $5,600.00 deposit up front. On 06/05/19 a 2 man crew installed framing and we paid another $5,600.00 deposit. Found out that permits had not been pulled for the project by White Aluminum, per contract. As of today 07/08 we still have only a frame, no windows or door and we still do not have permits, which puts in violation with possible fines and penalties and a completion date has not been scheduled. Crew did an excellent job installing the framing and were professional and experienced. Can't say the same for the administration division of White Aluminum, who seem to have a lack of inter-departmental communication and do not return most of the calls which are often left on voice mail. No email contacts are ever given and do not appear on web site. No excuse for a company that has been in business for over 40 years. Informed them that my wife almost fell thru the 2' high windows frame opening on 2 occasions, but that has not seemed to expediate the permits or project completion.

So my original grade was 5 going to be stars.. but after the sale customer service is beyond horrible (see original review below). I have called and emailed several times asking for written instruction how to install a ceiling fan on my insulated roof so I don't mess up the integrity, no responses!! Also asked for them to identify where the fan beams are that I paid extra for, can't get them to answer. My suggestion is get everything done at one time so no one gets the final payment until all is complete!

They just finished and OMG, it is gorgeous!! Extremely nice people, answered every question promptly. Had to wait a bit to get on the schedule but after working with them I understand, they do it right!! I had several estimates, they were not the lowest but not the highest.. my salesman Mark Stoltz gave me the best vibes of all the sales pitches and boy am I pleased I went with White Aluminum! I believe the man in charge of installation was John, he spoke with my husband, super polite and on point of making sure installation was to high standard. We havne't experienced rain or wind yet but I am sure by contact so far with the people from White Aluminum if anything is wrong I know they will make it right. I STRONGLY suggest you at least get an estimate from them, you will not be sorry!!! I LOVE MY PORCHES!!!!!!!

Called to have slider window replaced, the seal was defective, and window was completely fogy. It was covered under manufacture warranty. It took them 6 months to replace and only after repeated calls, he kept giving me the run around, so I email Todd's boss.
Only than was it replaced. Only after about 3 months, the same problem has occurred with the same window, again Todd is giving me the round around. Says he is going to call and never returns my calls, always has excuses, Too busy, not in the office...etc...etc... I do not recommend using this company, I believe they are using inferior products.

Are they a little pricey? Yes but they installed a beautiful pergola EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Very impressed with the quality of workmanship
