Beginning his roofing career at age 15, Travis created a thriving roofing and remodeling company in North Carolina, which he sold in 2021 before relocating to Florida with his family.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, Travis recognized serious challenges in the local roofing market, including unreliable practices and subpar customer service.
