Westside Roofing

We had our entire roof replaced by Westside Roofing 8 years ago after a big hail storm. We also had most of the roof decking replaced. Due to the number of years they were in business we expected to receive quality work. We should have been suspicious when one of the trucks that came to do the work had the name of another roofing company on it. They probably sublet the work to someone else. I paid Westside. After all the rain we had recently we noticed a wet spot on the ceiling. Called a roofer to check it out and my husband observed his inspection. The source of the leak was found and we proceeded with repairs. Shingles had to be removed to get to the damaged area. Discovered that although we had paid Westside to double felt our roof, the area where the leak occurred had absolutely no felt at all under the shingles. We had to remove more shingles just to expose the large area where they had not bothered to install felt. Shingles had been nailed directly to the new plywood we had installed by Westside. We had to replace the damaged plywood underneath as well. Would never call these jerks again. Considering what we paid for the job it should have been done right in the first place. Now we are worried about our workshop which they also replaced the roof on. If you decide to go with Westside make sure you get a warranty for their workmanship as well as the warranty on the shingles. Wish I had made a video of them installing it.

Worst roofing company I've ever come in contact with. The roof on my new home leaked from day one, and their support staff is terrible. It took them over a WEEK just to return my first call for warranty help. Years later when my roof started leaking AGAIN, I called several times and received ZERO response from these clowns. Avoid with extreme predjudice.
