Well it's been about a month since we had our roof done. With the type of winter we're having I'm so glad it was completed before the storm came in. I had 4 estimates come in along with Westshore. Paul was by far the most professional of those that came. Pricing wise, he was very competitive. But it wasn't necessarily the price that I ultimately made my decision on, it was the fact that Paul had the most knowledge and offered the best product - not just in terms of the roofing, but in terms of the underlayment as well as the option to have a low-e thermal sheet that wasn't even mentioned by the others who came. The thinking behind this is that with the low-e thermal sheet, it will help keep my house cool in the summer time.

Meet Paul and you'll understand why I and all else who have given a positive feedback. He is professional and follows-up.

The only thing keeping me from giving a 5 is because there were a few touch up points that had to followed-up on, but they did execute correctly once I brought it up.

I debated between 4 and 5 Stars, but decided on 5. Here is why. I had some major termite repairs done on my property. The termite guys had to take some shingles off to do the work and the roof needed repaired afterwards. Paul gave the best price and warranty. He also did a great job and he is a nice guy and very nice to speak with. So why the doubt on the stars? His communication could be a bit better. They could be a bit faster in responding to emails etc and sometimes you have to chase him down to get a response. But if you are looking for good roof repair at a good price, Paul is your guy.

When we decided to bite the bullet and put a new roof on our well loved house we interviewed 5 roofing firms. The objective not to seek the lowest bid but to have a quality roof put on and to feel comfortable with the end product. We researched the roofers carefully on Yelp and other forums. The bids were very similar in price but not in thoroughness. The typical company spent all of 10 minutes with us and didn't even go up and inspect the roof, which is not straight forward but all cut-up, it's an old house. Paul, the owner of Westshore spent over an hour with us outlining our options and listening to what we wanted. His proposal was amazing, he listed everything we has asked for and then some. He had obviously really listened and understood our concerns. And the bid was very reasonable. The work was also exceptional. My husband is a retired contractor and very fussy. Westshore's crew went above and beyond in delivering on their proposal and accommodating additional requests at no extra cost. The quality of the roof is incredible from the way they matched the shakes to the way they carefully reinstalled the weathervane and made sure it pointed to north, which is almost east the way our house sits. The building inspector was also very complimentary, from telling us at the onset that most roofers did a poor job to telling us at the final inspection that this was one of the best roof installations he had ever seen. Westshore definitely has our highest recommendation and very grateful thanks that we discovered such a high calibre, high integrity company.

When it was time for a re-roofing job, I made appointments with 6 contractors for free estimates. Paul, the owner of Westshore Roofing, came out on time and gave me a proposal on site. I was very impressed with his professional demeanor and reasonable prices. I chose his company over all the others for that reason. I decided to go with a new wood shake shingle roof, which is more expensive than composition but I felt well worth it. I also contracted for new gutters and attic insulation. The only rough spot was with the attic insulation, but Paul and his Service Manager, Joe, were quick to come out and do what was necessary to make it right. I honestly feel they went the extra mile for me with all the detail work they did on my house and roof. I was impressed with the hard work of the roofing crew. They were all polite, friendly and helpful with all of my questions and concerns. When the city Inspector came out at the completion of the job, he smiled and said to me ""They did a beautiful job!"" My sentiments exactly! Thank You Paul, Joe, Anthony, Wes, and all the roofing crew.

I had hired Westshore Roofing to fix a few things on my tile roof. I had called about 15 other roofing companies to give me a quote. None of the companies could excatly figure out what the problem was and some quotes were just outrageous. Joe from Westshore Roofing came over and checked my roof. He figured out what the problem was right away. He took pictures and showed me all the areas which required repair. He also said that it would take 2 days to finish the work. He came exactly on time on the day the work was scheduled to start and finsihed the work in a day and also showed me pictures of the work he had done to fix the problem areas.
I am very happy with their service and would hire them again.

Wow these guys are great.

After hearing what I thought was water leaking or dripping in my attic or wall during the recent rain storm, I called the office at Westshore to see if they could check my new roof.

Joe came out to my house the same day. After inspection, he found that the gutters downspout was partially clogged (the dripping sound) and that a tree branch was knocking on the side of the roof and gutter. He cleaned the gutter and cut back the branch for me at no charge.

Oh I am a real customer. Your installer parked his black ford expedition in the driveway like he owned to place. What is a customer going to do? Complain about the installation, im sure my roof will end up looking and sealing great then.......
