We had our roof replace by Westfall roofing 6-8 years ago. Our roof is very steep. They did a good job but the tarps they put up to protect the stucco were filthy and we had to have the stucco re-painted. They paid half that cost. Then after the roof was approximately 3 years old 2 shingles in completely separate areas fell off the roof. These are the cement type shingles and the roof was over $25,000. I called The owner, Mark, as the roof was guaranteed for 50 years. I asked him to replace the two shingles (we had extras ) as he had told us not to let anyone walk on the roof due to the material of the shingles. It took him a week or two to come out and see where the shingles had come out. He then told me he would have a crew come out and replace them. I called every few months for a year and a half-always getting the excuse that when he had a crew in our neighborhood he would do it. It is now 3 years later and we sold our house several months ago. Another roofer came and did the repair. I felt from the beginning a Mark Westfall had no intention of fixing my roof and each time he became a little more rude. Not impressed-no customer service.

Mark Westfall Roofing is very honest and does great work. I had them come out for look at the roof at my mothers house and Westfall Roofing was very professional. In fact, they came and told me that my mother did not need a new roof and all was just fine... for me to call them again if the roof was to leak.
Imagine my surprise when I was told that no work needed to be done. How many contractors would have told you that?? None!
I say, call Mark Westfall Roofing for all of your roofing needs, you will not be disappointed!!

To keep it short and to the point, Mark Westfall Roofing is unprofessional and misleading. Dont waste your time getting an estimate. According to Mark they are just to busy to deal with simple residential roof repair. MWR came to my residence three times to fix a leaking skylight. I even purchased a new skylight on their recommendation. I spent 850 on Roof repair which never stopped the leak. When I reached out to them to fix the issue I was quoted 1200 in addition to the 850 I had already paid. And of course I got a lecture of how busy they are and wouldn't be able to get to it for a few weeks. Unfortunately I will take my business else where and not recommend them to friends and family. The two star rating is for Ronnie and his crew. They actually seem pretty cool and genuine. Bottom line, I had a leak and after two visits and several weeks of rain, it was never fixed. Finally another roofer came and fixed the leak in 20min with a new piece of metal flashing. Dont waste your time with Westfall.

Mark and his entire crew are top notch. From the time, he comes to inspect and evaluate the job, he is detailed oriented, professional and very honest. He will tell exactly what he thinks is right and help you understand when you make a decision that is not in your best interest. His crew comes in and works hard each day to complete the job quickly. We are extremely happy that we waited to have him and his crew do our roof. The roof is great!

Mark and his crew were great for a re-roof on a garage for an investment property we bought in San Pedro. They did great work, on-time and on budget. This review will take place in phases. My roofing issue is quirky: I have an old mid-century style house that had concrete M-tiles put on it to replace the original shake roof. The problem is that the previous owners also put on ""rake tiles"" along the ridgelines (note: rake tiles are the L-shaped tiles along the edges). Long story short, you DON""T put rake tiles on mid-century style homes. IMHO it looks dumb. I want them removed without putting a new roof on...but naturally not creating new areas along the edge for water leaks.
1) As of this first review...I give it 5-stars because I requested a quote on Yelp and within an hour or so got a quick response back with contact info. I called them up and immediately got to talk with Mark about my issue and plans to set up a time next week for them to come out and take a look (and hopefully provide a quote). I have called several roofing companies already that didn't want to bother with my job...and I know roofers are busy considering all the rains, including Mark's company...but these guys still took the time to listen and want to work with me despite my smallish job.

A couple of days ago, I called Mark Westfall roofing based on reviews I read on Yelp and Angie's List. We were not having a crisis but we've been concerned about the condition of our roof since it has been a little over 20 yrs since it was replaced. Mark made a visit to our home to assess the roof and left me a voice message. I was very happy to hear that our roof is still in great condition. He gave us some advice on how we can maintain and repair some minor things. Mark was friendly, honest, and helpful to me and I'm grateful that he was looking out for our best interest. Mark is the nicest guy around! Our business just moved into a new office building in Torrance and we noticed we have a pipe without a cover coming through the ceiling. Mark came over, advised us what type of inexpensive part we needed to by at a hardware store to remedy our problem, and he didn't even charge for his time. He just won us as his future customers. This type of kindness doesnt happen very often anymore. Thanks Mark!
