Outstanding family owned business that do mint work. Keep up the great service thank you.

Western States re-roofed my house several years ago and we've never had a problem. The crew was great and did really good quality work.

It's no thrill to drop many thousands of dollars on a new roof, but these guys made the process as pleasant as possible, with professionalism from start to finish. We dealt with Matt onsite, and Preston and William in the office. Communication was good, workmanship was good, they did good cleanup, they came when they said they would, and the job was completed in the agreed-upon timeline.
Please note that they are very busy -- lots of folks had roof damage after the storms earlier this year. It did take us a bit of waiting for Matt to come out to give the initial assessment, and then we did have to get in the queue. That is normal and to be expected. It was absolutely worth the wait, and what a delight to have the last big rains produce no leaks!

I needed the fascia board on my second story replaced and a new roof put on my garage. I chose Western States because they were to first to respond in a timely manner. They were very prompt, professional, and courteous. The new fascia blends seamlessly with the house and the garage roof looks great! The crew did a wonderful job and did so quickly. I was impressed with their professionalism and quality of work. Would highly recommend.

Original roofing job was good. We felt great that the roofing came with a 10yr guarantee on materials. So we recently noticed the roof had a tile break from natural wear over the years and we are just around the 10 year mark (still within the 10 year guarantee margin). We then reached out to Western States for a quote to get that fixed. They came and said should be a easy fix with some tile glue. We figured we would need to pay for labor so should be an easy $100-200 fix. Finally received the quote in the mail and was surprised to see the repair would cost $650. I don't think the quote is reasonable in my opinion. Specially since they are the one that offer the guarantee in the first place... if we knew about this originally we most likely would have found another roofing company. We will glue the tile together ourselves with a bit of glue, a ladder, 15min of time out the day, problem solved! I'm guessing the cost for the fix should be about $20! I'll save the $630 saved to spend it on a ticket to Hawaii once covid is over!

This company is horrible. My HOA hired these people to fix our buildings roof and what do they do? Cause more damage than they fixed. The broke our window. Knocked out our chandelier and now today caused a pipe to burst and water is leaking in my condo.
Please listen to these reviews. This is really sad at how horrible they work. They are not good at what they do. If I could give 0 stars I would. Stay away.

I strongly advise you to stay far away from this unscrupulous company. The owner/s and it's employees are all operating on the same dishonest level. They were contracted through our insurance company to come out look at a roof leak and submit their report for repair or replace. They did not do anything but waste our time and as a result we have further water damage to our property. By not submitting their report to the insurance company, because they claim they're to busy, we had rain water enter the property yesterday, further damanging our ceilings and furniture. It has been over a month since they came out and the only reponse they gave us is; ""we our too busy, don't tell me how to run my business""... The level of incompetence on thier part warrants a lawsuit. If they submitted their report to the insurance company in a timely manner, I would know from the insurance company if we are covered on this claim or not and if I was for some reason not covered, I would know to move forward on my own and take proper actions on fixing the damages, so I don't take more damage on the next unpredictable rain strom. They need their licenses revoked for this level of incompetence and negligence.

very disappointed how they handle their business. They came 1.5 months ago did the inspection and disappeared claiming they are too busy to handle it. I never received a report either. They wasted my time and the damage is now worse than it was at the beginning. I could've scheduled the inspection with another company and by now we could fix the issue. Instead, I have to deal with more damages now. Extremely unprofessional.

What pros! My new roof looks great and I am 100% sure that the workmanship is top quality. Great price too. Can't say enough about Preston, Dean and William. Highly recommended.

Matt Carter, of Western States Roofing, Inc. is the most dishonorable person that I have had the unfortunate opportunity to encounter. Six weeks ago he came out to inspect my roof and give me an estimate. We looked over the different color singles and decided on the colors. I told him I would be leaving town for a month but would like to schedule the job (new roof for house and garage) when I got back on October 1. I told him that I was concerned about the predicted upcoming winter rains in Los Angeles and wanted to get the new roof on as soon as I got back. While I was away, although I had to continuously call him and remind him to send me the estimate, I finally got it from him and wrote him back saying that I did not have a printer or fax where I was but could I give him the signed documents and the deposit when I returned on October 1 or if not I would mail the check and docs back to him. He told me that we could take care of it when I got back. On October 1st when I returned, I called him again and asked him when he would come out to finalize the project. He told me that he would be by the next day between 3 and 4 pm. The next day at 2 pm I got a call from Matt Carter telling me that he would not be able to do the job! That was horrible in itself but he had the nerve to start fabricating things on why he couldn't install the new roof! He was untruthful, rude and I can not believe he is able to keep a business. I plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
