Tony and his team at Western Sierra are top notch. Prior to talking with Tony, my wife and I were exploring traditional shingle roofing. To our dismay, we couldn't find any shingle types or colors that stood out to us. For what we would spend it just didnt seem like we would be happy with what we would get. Additionally we wanted to somehow insulate our vaulted exposed wood ceiling roof. We were approaching a dead end.

Luckily we found Tony and Western Sierra and hit two birds with one stone! Our decra tile roof gave our home a distinguished attractive look, while also insulating our roof at an overall lower cost (no need to do a tear and haul).

Tony's team managed to schedule us in during one of the busiest times for roofers and get the job done in a matter of a few days. It was quite impressive work. We couldnt be happier with our new roof!

Outstanding. It has been 2 years since we had a new roof, gutters and solar installed. Good communication, response and service. Product has been flawless. Solar has more than lived up to expectations. Tony gave us good advice on Tesla battery, even though he wasn't doing the install. Rating should be 3 X 5 stars because both of our neighbors had roofing done by WS and were also pleased. We live in a semi-rural area and have the metal roof. Its great. No problems.

My realtor referred me to Tony for a roof inspection when we bought the house. I was impressed with how quickly he arrived. The report was what I expected. He charges for the inspection & the charge cannot be credited towards repairs.

I waited perhaps 5 weeks to authorize him to start work. He wasn't priority #1 as there were serious issues to fix first. The rainy season hasn't come yet & I am trying to get ahead of it.

I sent him an email saying that I accepted his proposal & also wanted additional work done. No reply. I forwarded my acceptance two more times. No reply. I phoned. No reply. That is 4 times that I was ignored.

I had sent a PS that I also was interested in solar panels. He gave a short reply to that. Earlier he had said he does install solar panels.

My attitude is if U have to beg him to accept my $2900 + much more (solar), then he is not the one who will fix a problem. I need a consumer friendly contractor who I can depend on.

I didnt actually hire Western Sierra to have my gutters cleaned. I got several other estimates. Western Sierra wanted $450 for a single family home. To me that seemed way out of line. The other estimates came in between $160 and $200. Consequently I didn't hire them. But I cannot say anything about their work, they are probably excellent.

I couldn't be happier! I had Western Sierra put metal roofing around the mansard portion of my roof and replace gutters. It has changed the curb appeal of my home, making a dated roof design more current. Tony was prompt on every level- he came to see and measure the roof, was prepared with material samples and available colors which he left with me; I had his quote that afternoon. He worked closely with another contractor to coordinate his schedule, the work was completed on time as promised. The installation team was here every morning, quieter than I expected with a roof installation and cleaned up every afternoon, Tony was on the job every day to oversee the progress. He even accommodated me with a last minute add on. I hit the jackpot when I hired Western Sierra.

I was having some problems with my gutters leaking and wasn't exactly sure what the problem was. I called and reached Tony who said he'd be able to come out in just a few hours to check.
After examining my gutters, it turned out that just a few minor adjustments were needed. I wasn't expecting it, but he performed the work right then. I was really pleased that he not only responded out so quickly but was able to fix the problem the same day. Tony is friendly, knowledgeable and definitely efficient. I was very pleased.
We've been customers of theirs since 2006. They installed our gutters and gutter screens originally and I will certainly remain a loyal customer because of actions like the above.
