We replaced the roof just this week. They worked with us to select the right shignles, vent options, dry rot repair, etc.

It was wonderful to interact with Roscoe Hurry and also with Mike.

The work was done per schedule, couple of minor issues like rain diverter and old dish antenna were fixed. The work crew was orderly and cleaned up after.

I misjudged the longevity of my quality shake roof--which had been applied 38 years ago. The 64 inches of rain last year caused a dark line and then a swelling in my living room ceiling. Almost all of the reliable roofers from decades past were gone. In July, Roscow Hurry from Western Roofing systems showed me some tile samples, and revealed that his crews were already scheduled into October. My old roof had more than a few fist-sized holes in it and plenty of smaller ones. I asked Roscow if he could fit me in before rainy season started. He mentioned mid-October as a probable start date, but he would see what he could do. I trimmed back a tunnel of shrubs to allow the large tear-off truck to make it down my narrow driveway. That saved me $1,000. In late August, a job cancellation enabled Western Roofers to finish the work here, including gutters and downspouts, in less than four days-- well before mid-September. I chose the economical Malarkey asphalt tiles, and they look as good as the higher end architectural roofs in my neighborhood, at a thrifty price. Roscoe and his team from Western Roofing did an outstanding job re-roofing our church roof. They were very professional, kept the work area safe, and cleaned up each day. They were very flexible and worked around our schedule at the church. Roscoe was in constant communication which we really appreciated. There were additional costs once the old roof was removed but they were very reasonable. Western also replaced our gutters and downspouts and installed vents near the ridge of the roof. I had water damage in the ceiling due to the big storm early this year, so I decided to replace roof which was over 20 years old. I asked several roofing companies come to give me quote. Roscoe did the best inspection, he checked carefully on the roof, provided me useful info and solutions, the quote is fair and competitive, while other company's inspectors just simply used drone flying over or took a quick look on the roof. Roscoe always provided me detailed solutions when I had questions, also when I need to check the samples again, he come over to provide me immediately.
