I wouldn't consider getting a new roof a 'fun' project, but I was really impressed with the work of Westco Roofing especially the Project Manager Kevin & head crew member Leo. We have a steep roof on a hill that doesn't make for an easy job, but the crew worked efficiently and consistently cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis.

We had just gotten our driveway re-done and they took extra care to lay down tarps under their vehicle to protect the new pavers, and lay plastic sheets down where materials would be falling around the property.

The roof was really old and had some leaks in the garage which I knew would be problematic, but Kevin took the time to explain the issues and we were able to have Leo fix what needed to be fixed without needing to bring a carpenter in. A lot of this was outside of their scope but it honestly looks better than when we bought the house.

Overall the price was fair compared to other quotes we had gotten, and the quality is excellent. Do not hesitate to hire these guys.

They did a great job. we had an emergency to get the roof replaced or our insurance would be cancelled, they found us a earlier start date, we had something already scheduled but it was too close to date, they came and finished job in 6 days, including some repairs to roof that were not visible until roof was removed. I had used them on our house in SF before but this was extraordinary effort. and the roof looks great.

Ten years ago, Westco re-roofed our house, supposedly with a 30-year warranty. We need them to inspect the roof for leakage, but they refuse to return phone calls or emails. When messages are left with ""Don,"" there are promises to follow up. This never happens.

Westco recently completed re-roofing my house and I was very impressed with the company. Tim was very friendly, thorough, and professional with the initial inspection and consultation. When they were ready to start on my project, it took a total of 3 days from start to finish. The team lead by Cayden Cho and Jose arrived exactly on time every day, worked hard even in the record heatwave, and had the site cleaned up at the end of the day. I felt they were efficient and honest and so far I'm very happy with the results.

I am very happy with this company. Although they made a big boo boo when they replaced the special vent for the on-demand water heater, they made good really quickly with no argument. They also just came out to our house very quickly to investigate a leak we had mentioned when we hired them to do our new roof. As it turns out, the leak was not a roof issue, but a siding issue, but they fixed it quickly anyway -- for free!

I would definitely use them again -- if I hadn't bought a 20yr roof!

About a year ago, Westco came out to to do a variety of repairs and patching on the roof, plus a deck surface, of my clients' 3 unit building. They also sealed windows due to leaking. They did a great job and made sure to squeeze the project in before they closed for the holidays. And recently, when the gutters were being cleaned, that vendor mentioned a few very minor issues, so I contacted Westco to see if the issues would be under warranty. They were extremely responsive. I emailed the office and Cayden called me shortly afterwards. They were able to send a team out to take care of the completely covered work the next day.

As a Personal Concierge I deal with a huge variety of vendors and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Westco put a new roof on our house 20 years ago, and
last month they repaired it, patching areas where shingles
were missing, re-sealing areas, creating and installing a
chimney cap/screen, and sealing a crack. They were
professional, quick, did excellent work, and protected our
garden during the repair job. Excellent cleanup as well.
A special rave for Project Manager Cayden Cho and
team boss Jose Ortiz. I wish I could give them
more than 5 stars.

We just had our complicated roof in Piedmont replaced by Westco, as well as several gutters and drain pipes. Westco is a well run and well organized company. The contract was very detailed and precise. The crew was very professional. The job site was kept clean and the work done quickly with a large crew and minimum disruption. The estimate was very detailed and the price was competitive.
The project Manager was Kevin. The crew leader was very skilled and knowledgeable.

We are very pleased with the result and highly recommend the company.

Westco came out and gave me a quote to seal around chimneys and skylights, a general sealing of the roof (gravel and tar), and repairing a leak. Their quote was definitely reasonable but they were booked pretty far out since it was winter time. Since my job was smaller, they were able to fit me in last minute a few weeks later when time permitted. My roof is not leaking and they seem to have done a good job. I had quite a few roofers come out for estimates and I really felt most confident in Westco even though they were not the cheapest - nor the most expensive.
