I got several project estimates and Walt's estimate was both reasonable and responsive to my needs. I needed some minor roof repairs and most roofing contractors only want to replace whole roofs, not repair them. Many contractors try ploys to trick customers into work and material they do not need. Walt was the opposite. Honest and no nonsense. I had other consultants on my roof and they told me what I needed. Walt was the only contractor estimating on my job who did not play games. His crew came in at 8am and they were gone by noon. I am sure he would replace whole roofs, but it was nice to know that there is company who can repair them as well. His crew did a great job!

After several years of trying to fix my roof and save my solar system, I decided to just get a new roof...but how to find a reputable roofer in the middle of August? A realtor recommended WestBay Roofing. I called and Walter Higgins came out right away, gave me an excellent bid, and after getting several other bids, I called to schedule the work, hoping to do it before the rains come. To my happy surprise, Walter said he could start the very next day! Not only that, but he offered to remove the solar system at no additional cost. Walter then got the permit, purchased my choice of shingles, and his crew put up the roof in 3 days. I was very impressed with the quality of the crew's workmanship; they took off skylights to re-flash, did a super job around my chimney, and took extra care with the flat alley that was prone to leak before.
