West Roofing and Joe Elay are The Best, with all the rain we had in The South Bay I had a leak in my laundry room roof. I called Joe and he responded with in a few minutes and had his team to my house the next day. Joe explained the problem and what needed to be done to replace the area of the roof that caused the leak. Joe and his team worked hard getting my roof professionally installed and cleaned up the job perfectly. I highly recommended West Roofing and Joe to all. TC Torrance CA.

I do not recommend this company if you want your roof done correctly. After going through 4 quotes, West Roofing was on the pricier end. I ended up going with them anyways because the guy was a good salesman. Or should I say con artist? Joe can talk a good game but it is completely false. I was lead to believe that the material used would make my roof waterproof. He might be have a C39 license but he did NOT work on my roof. Nor did he inspect the work once completed. He DID come to my house after the work was completed without warning for his payment. I have had several areas of leaks since it's been done. One being over our gas heater, living room, bedroom. Only positive thing to add is they send someone over to stop the leaks when I call. If the work was done correctly and the material was waterproof as described this shouldn't happen after spending the amount I did. Now it might be time for legal action.

We were very, very fortunate to find West Roofing (owner: Joe Elady). They did an outstanding job on with the replacement of our 16 Unit building's 10000 Sqft roof. The rains from earlier in the year has caused water damaged in multiple units and owners were very anxious to replace the roof before the rain season starts again. The roof vetting process was very discouraging. Contactors were either too busy to entertain a new project, their process seemed lacking and unclear, flaky with appointment commitments, or bids left us exposed for surprise costs that could occur during the roof replacement process. After 4 months of searching we found West Roofing. Our patience paid off. At this time we were very experienced at the vetting process. We met with the owner, Joe Elady, three times. He had the patience to listen, took the time to clearly explain what would be done to our roof and exactly what materials would be used. He was both easy to talk to, and understand. Also, Joe was accessible throughout the job from beginning to end. He and his crew where very professional, considerate of the neighbors, and cleaned up the area after each day. I cannot recommend them enough. I would give them 6 stars.

Had a verbal discussion with the contractor for West roofing,and apparently there some big unforeseen personal issues, including a secretary, who had left and a replacement could not be found quickly to stay on top of customer communication. The work itself was OK. Price was fair. I ended saying in the future the business shoukd make customer better communication should become a major priority. And he agreed.

Joe walked me through all the possible ways to address it, the costs, and gave an honest recommendation of what would be best given our situation. He made me feel very confident every step of the way that we were doing the right thing - he explained things in terms that were easy to understand, and was always responsive and reliable.

He and his team helped us prepare and protect for unexpected rain and even when we had some water leakage he helped us sort through it and sent over a handyman as well. Not only does the roof look great but we now have confidence in it for the coming years.

On a personal level Joe is also such a delight. Kind, gets to know you, and helps you solve problems. When doing a project like this with a big price tag it really helps to have someone kind, personable, and who understands what tradeoffs you're weighing that can help you navigate.

I wish I could give 10 stars for this company! They came out as quickly as possible to repair the leak in my roof. It was a large and difficult job but they worked hard and completed the job in less than two days. Joe's men went above and beyond and even paid attention to the details including some wood rot. This is the second time I have used these guys and I will definitely call them again! Price was fair!

I had a leak from the heavy rains going into my home. I called Joe Elady and he came by to inspect the roof. He had mentioned that my roof is solid and that the leak was coming from an air conditioning duct. This was a minor repair and something that his company does not normally do. He however attempted to seal the leak with the available tools he had. He came back the next day and out of the goodness of his heart, he did not charge for his efforts. That is unheard of for a contractor. He's definitely a blessing from God to my family! Joe will always be our first choice for any possible future roofing concerns.
