Worst company ever.

Inspector came by and we had no idea we made a appointment with the company. The salesperson called and asked when was a good time, and we said around 11. However, she said she would call us back. Which never happened.

So the inspector comes knocking into our door, demanding for my father (the owner). My mom said please wait a minute and the inspector said he didn't want to wait because he already waited. Later I asked him how long he was waiting for, and it wasn't 10 minutes not even 20 minutes. FOUR minutes he waited and acted aggressive. We simply told him that we weren't aware of an appointment (the sales rep did not call back) and we did not want our roof to be inspected at the moment. He then said ""Well if you didn't want it inspected, you shouldn't have made an appointment."" He had a calm yet arrogant composure, but repeated those words over and over when we said we didn't want one.

I later told him that he came off as belligerent and told his manager that he wasn't sure why my parents were livid when they set the appointment. We already told him that we didn't schedule one, and the sales rep did not call us back. He said ""I wouldn't say I was belligerent, I was just saying the truth."" Never ONCE did he apologize for his attitude. And for that DO NOT do business with this place. Awful office coordination and customer service. Here is the name of the inspector that came by:

Very aggressive sales people approached me at my house and harassed me on getting me a quote I didn't want and asking me all these personal questions. Do yourself a favor and stay off my property next time.

Absolute scum. We have a sign on the front door that says ""No Soliciting."" They rang the doorbell and asked if they could leave their door tag with us. I said no. They still put it on the door and I asked if they see the sign which they responded ""have a nice day, and walked off, leaving their trash and refusing to listen.

So after they came by on Saturday I decided to research this company before my appointment. After reading their reviews I decided to cancel my appointment since it seemed like a timeshare pitch. I called @ 11:22 and canceled, sure enough they still showed up. I did not answer the door because we were eating dinner. A few minutes later I received a phone call, at which time I told the gentleman that I had cancelled in the morning and that I was not interested. He didn't believe and wanted a name of who I spoke, I didn't remember but informed it was a young lady. He then tried to push blame on me and still wanted me me to do my inspection. I reiterated I was not interested. Given all the reviews I'm not surprised the appointment/inspection was not canceled, but putting the blame on me shows the true nature of this company.

Very aggressive sales people approached me when I was coming home and opening the gate to driveway. Very insistent on getting my phone number for a quote I didn't want. Only left when I told them they would not be getting my phone number no matter how much they asked. I would not consider this company for any future home projects due to the aggressive behavior.

I would not recommend this company. They are super aggressive and agro in trying to get a quote on my home that I did NOT want. I was pressured into making an appointment that I did NOT want. And when they came to give me a quote they made me feel terrible because I told them I changed my mind. Just steer clear of this business and do your research in finding a reputable company.

very pushy and rude salesman when I told them I couldn't do job anytime soon due to a disability they got pushy and rude don't deal with these people they try and bully you they got mad when I forgot to cancel apt threatened to send me a bill that is not a way to do business or get business

These guys are pure scammers. They came to my home after the storm (storm chasers!) and offered a free roof inspection, told me it was a wreck, quote was $39.000!! When they were getting me the quote, they were keep making phone calls to their ""boss"" to get the price down, played used car sales tactics, tried to use the 'HERO' program that is a basically a scam, told me that they had some commercial repair nearby so they could use that to buy the material at ""discounted"" price, in exchange I had to agree to place their sign in my yard for few days.
Very annoying and pressing, also told me that several studs were damaged in the attic, of which it was not true. At the end they busted down the price to around $27.000, then I told them to get out! Also the quotes were valid only if I had sign it immediately and for a limited time, like 2 weeks.
I got my roof replaced from a more respectable company for less than $11.000, job done in 2 days. Stay away from these guys!!

West Coast Better Homes did a fantastic job on my roof. I'm the sole owner of the house and a business owner and I was not intimidated or put off by lengthy sales pitch.
In the end I opted for a energy efficient roof using top notch material from Owens Corning with a 50 year warranty backed by Owens Corning (a Fortune 500 company).
They hooked me up with a PACE loan which is a federally backed energy efficiency and disaster preparedness program ( I qualifies for YGrene) Everything was legit. They took care of all permits and dealt with the Mills Act and local Historical Society to make sure that all the bases were covered.
They finished in record time and cleaned up to the point that you couldn't even tell they had been there.
I'm now working on installing much needed energy efficient windows.
They did not ask me to write this review I chose to write my experiences as a response to some of the people who were put off by their sales approach.
There is a push on to let people know to take advantage of the energy efficient upgrades before our current government gets rid of them. They are being a little bit extra aggressive because of this.
I would highly recommend this company. The price tag may be higher than your average roof but using the best quality materials and the 50 year warranty is worth the price as it increases the value of my property and I'm also elegible for substancial tax write offs and rebates.
My neighbourhood is a HPOZ (Historical preservation zone) that is rapidly increasing in value. It's so worth it for me to get quality work done on my biggest asset.
Please give them a listen....you'll be glad you did.

I highly recommend West Coast Better Homes. These guys are prompt and professional. Definitely followed through with all that they promised. You guys now have a life long customer!!!
